Whenever I do power cleans, or pick any weights up off the floor, I start getting lightheaded. Is there a way to prevent this? (I know this topic has been discussed before, but the search didn't bring anything up).

sounds like your right memphis, I've seen people in the gym actually pass out from trying to supersets and holding their breath. Also, make sure you have eaten something just before going into the gym, even if it's just a protein shake. No nutrition in your body and high amounts of muscular stress can also cause this, along with dehydration.
No. Holding your breath can cause one major-ass headache Luke's probably right. I don't eat much in the mornings, just a bowl of cereal. But it happens during the evenings, too...Originally Posted by Memphis
