Default So, Robert Guerrero-Jorge Linares: Who wins this

Seem like the two best guys at 126 considering Chris John's not gonna leave Indonesia most likely and I assume both of these guy's managers have better business sense than Nacho Beristain-who doesn't?

I have a sinking feeling that Rocky Juarez is gonna get his 38th title shot against one of these guy's in the near future but assuming this fight does happen who wins?

    LMMFAO. Guerrberro, lol

I don't know much about Guerrero, and I am a fanboy of Linares, so there you go. Linares is a little monster in that ring. Sorry I don't have a better break down than that Ouma Everyone will have major problems with that kat!!

I'm going for Linares. I've been a fan of his for a while, and I think he has what it tkaes to be the best in any weight class he operates in. The guy is just an all round package, and although he can have lapses in his concentration,he is improving all the time. Linares on points for me,plus,I respect Guererro but don't think he's that great a fighter.

    Linares late TKO....
I've never been a fan of the Ghost, don't like his style and I think hes skills are limited.
Linares on the other hand just keeps getting better and better.

Just out of curiosity: Have people here seen Guerrero's fight against Spend Abazi (Februar 07 for the vacant IBF-belt)? He was excellent!

Having followed Abazi's career and having seen Guerrero look so bad against Salido, I actually thought beforehand that Abazi had a decent shot, but Guerrero turned in a very impressive performance, and I have been quite big on him since (add to that that managed to give a very good impression out of the ring also).

Not saying that he will beat Linares - one of the best prospects in boxing, I agree - but with the performances against Abazi and Honorio (1st round KO), I would think a 24 year old American world champion would get more love than he actually does.

Perhaps it is just because I wasnt really caught up in the hype the first time around, and thus didnt see him as a major dissapointment later on?

Final remark: Another of the best prospects in all of boxing Yuriorkis Gamboa also belongs to this division. He is WBA #5 at the moment, if I remember it correctly, even if he only debuted in April. By the end of 2008, he should be regarded as a major player in the division as well.

Was a nice one, the way he turned it into

I don't think Guerrerro's an easy fight, he's a big, strong 126 pounder and he's got some skills but not as skilled as Linares

I'll take Guerrero by late stoppage. I think he's a very good fighter. The problem I had with him before was that he tends to fight to the level of his opponent. But he was outstanding in his last fight. I like Linares, but I like Guerrero better.

I think you're forgetting Steven Luevano who is also at the weight Ouma. I think he gives them both a tough fight, the fight with Linraes would be lovely to watch, lots of boxing skill on display!

Yeah I guess I forget about Luevano cause the couple times I saw him earlier in his career I wasn't that blown away. Didn't seem like anything that special, good enough but nothing great.

But I've heard he's look improved lately.
