Joe may get his chance against RJJ if he beats BHOP.
Joe has never fought anyone with Roy's speed, talent and accuracy. Be careful what you wish for!Originally Posted by ghost197532
Give me a break mate, Joe would pepper him with shots for the full 12Originally Posted by Deanrw

Jones has not faced some one like Joe, and thats a fact!!
RJJ has faced more quality opponents than Joe.
And vice a versa FACT, its obvious your a troll these two old *hasbeen's* as you put it just fought a damn good fight so why do you have to make hate threads and try and put Jones down.Originally Posted by ghost197532
Oh Joe can win it, but remember, Roy will also hit him at will, with punches Joe will not even see coming. Joe is not unbeatable and like i said in an earlier post, he has never fought anyone like Roy.Originally Posted by Kel
he faced James Toney and Hopkins, and I would rate Toney higher than Calzaghe on my 168 all time ladder, not because of what he accomplished at the weight, but because he was better. I guarantee that prime Toney ko's Calzaghe, Calzaghe isn't fast enough or hits hard enough to overwhelm Toney. Michael Nunn was faster than Calzaghe, in great shape, better skills, and he was countered all night by Toney, and after that he fell apart, but the point is that Roy has foughten two guys who at their prime were better than Calzaghe. Calzaghe has only foughten Kessler who is a great fighter, but not an ATG fighter. The only reason IMO Calzaghe would beat Roy is because Roy can't keep up with him in terms of the pace of the fight. Calzaghe is to relentless and he still can maintain that fast pace for every minute of every round. There would be a few pounds where Roy's superior speed and skill would shine through, but mostly it would be Calzaghe outworking him, much like Calzaghe outworked Kessler, but moreso.Originally Posted by ghost197532
I see what you are saying and mostly agree. Remember though that Jones is a countering master, and with his speed, Joe may not want to go in there throwing non stop. Roy is not what he used to be and his reflexes are not the same, but he still has the ability to throw Joe off his non stop throwing game plan. It is an interesting fight for sure.Originally Posted by Taeth
It is a fact, Roy had the chance years ago to fight joe. And he did not want to do it and that is a fact. He could have been in many great fights and backed out!!! And thats a fact!!!
Years ago Joe was a high risk opponent, with no name in North America who wanted everyone to come to his turf. That is also a fact!Originally Posted by ghost197532
Joe has also backed out of many great fights simply for his stubborn refusal to fight anywhere else.
looks like the kessler fans have now become the calzaghe fans![]()
Look the fact is Roy made his name by fighting lesser fighters! sorry my spelling sucks!
