He was fighting on the weekend,v Ricardo Castillo and won easily. I think he looks skilled but he hasn't exactly been taking the toughest challenges out there, considering he's had 26 fights or so.

Good fighter. Decimated Hunter when Hunter was seen to be a hot prospect.

Funnily enough I'm starting to warm to the big-mouthed, chicken dancing gangsta.

I do quite like Zab I must admit. I always think he's going to get a great pep talk from Samuel Jackson one day who will put him on his team and help him overcome his emotional issuesOriginally Posted by hitmandonny
He fights Margarito in April, one of Gamo's favourites and a fighter I've come to respect.
I feel he potentially could beat Margarito, but one has to favour Margarito when one see's how Zab falls apart against most opposition.
The funny thing is he seems to hold a great deal of self belief still, he just can't convert it to positive ring work for some reason.
If fights lasted four rounds he would be the worlds best, hell he may have beaten Floyd and Cotto, but he falls apart at 5 every time!

I remember Oumafan asking this not too long ago people seem to be getting more interested in Molitor now. Anyway he is very patient fighter with good counter skills, quick hands, and picks his shots beautifully. His chin maybe a little suspect but i'll have to wait and see, i still think Molitor gives De Leon a boxing lesson.
he's a good fighter, nice neat boxer, very tricky, seems a cool guy...,dont kno how he would do against the rest of the big names, could box rings around de leon but not sure wat his chin is like yet...
He was dropped bt 3K Battery wasn't he? I can't remember if he was really hurt or not. I'd like to see him v De Leon and Caballaro,he needs to step up the comp imo.Originally Posted by fin
What about him is arrogantOriginally Posted by Bilbo
I've seen four of his fights and numerous interviews (he's Canadian so he actually gets a tiny bit of airtime up here on Russ Anber's show) and he's always come across as a pretty humble, down to earth guy. He's always saying supportive things about his brother as well, who is in jail. Most boxers are faily loud self-promoters, but I don't find Molitor to be arrogant at all.
3k Battery caught him with a straight right, pretty much the only punch he landed in that fight and Molitor didn't really drop, but his knee's buckled and his ass hit the bottom rope, which kept him from going down. It was incorrectly ruled a slip by the ref, but he didn't seem to be badly hurt or shaken, it was more of a flash knockdown. Molitor himself admitted afterwards that he didn't take 3K Battery as seriously as he should have and thus under-prepared for the fight. He also got away from his typical style in that fight, loading up on his shots and going for the KO instead of boxing and countering like he normally does.Originally Posted by El Gamo
Well first off I mean arrogant in a good way as I like boxers who believe they are the best.Originally Posted by CFH
But anyway reasons I call him arrogant are him saying he would retire Ponce De Leon when they fight. He called Rafael Marquez and Isreal Vazquez 'decent' brawlers who can't box and that he would completely outclass them.
When asked about the resurgance of Canadian talent recently with himself, Ngoudjo, Pascal, Bute etc he said he's the only real Canadian and all the others are just foreigners. I would LOVE to hear one of our English talents like Hatton say that of Amir Khan, Gavin Rees or Calzaghe, imagine the reaction![]()
He says he can't watch heavyweight boxing becuase they are all absolutely S*** and when asked 'even Sam Peter', he laughed, 'What the Nigerian Nightmare, well yeah he's certainly a nightmare to watch!'
So anyways that's why I regard him as arrogant but as I say I think it's a good thing, he's fun to watch and to listen to, one of my favourite fighters.
He also has facial characteristics much like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger. No I don't mean he looks even remotely like Arnold what I mean is he has that same smile that looks both like a smile and a sneer so that even when he's laughing and joking he does so with a look of condescending contempt.
But I like him, a lot in fact, one of my top 10 favourite current fighters.
I think Rafael Marquez and Israel Vazquez beat him without much problems
Hes decent but I don't see him posing any thread to the top dawgs...
MAYBE after Marquez & Vasquez fight a 3rd brutal fight then MAYBE he might have a chance at them.
Would love to see him fight PDL or Caballero.
