Thread: Anyone know what has happened to Margarito?

He was not present at the press conference for his fight with Cintron and hasn't given any interviews or anything! I hope he's in training improving his handspeed! He's going to have faster hands than Zab!

I haven't heard anything.

Maybe he didn't want to make the trip since he is not in the main event?

Cintron just lives in PA, so it's a quick trip for him.

That says to me that he has some concerns about Cintron. That maybe he isn't as supremely confident as one is who beat an upcoming opponent by KO. Perhaps Margarito is having some issues of his own.

Its rare that in journals and in news didnt say nothing about his absense in the conference of Cotto , Cintron and Gomez..........

Yeah,Macho,I thought it was weird,no-one even mentioned why he didn't turn up! Liquid,I doubt he's THAT scared of Cintron. I hope he's just training an a top secret underground lair where gravity is times 10 so when he fights,he'll be super fast!

Didn't say scared. Just concerned. If he's confident, as he should be, then there's no reason not to show up. But if Margarito's having trouble with weight then he doesn't have the time to spare to go to press conferences. Hell, he may think so little of Cintron that he didn't think it was worth his time to show up. But then, why has there been NOTHING from Margarito's camp?

With all due respect Liquid, Tony ain't scared of Cintron, you can bet your ass on that!! He probably just didn't want to show up at the presser and stand next to a dude that made a gay youtube video calling him out. It's just the calm before the storm as far as I'm concerned. Let Cintron make something more out of it and get stupid in the ring; and see what happens. Well, it's going to happen anyways

No doubt Legion.Certainly gets people talking huh?Not the best way to show Respect for the Promotion but Sort of funny seeing Cintron there all alone .He'll wish it was that way come fight night as well.

There are no problems with Margarito or his weight...He was not breaking training camp for the Confrence is at..It would have cost him 2 days by time travel and sleep was factored in....He has other press confrences to attend by time the fight comes...Like Diane said for Cintron it is just a couple hours drive...He is able to get in a workout...then make a day trip of it....

Relax El-G...Margarito is just fine...Better then he has been in years
