From that vid, i'd say no knock down, because the camera cuts away unfortunately.. It looked like he got hit, and then was going to go towards frazier and slipped.. but as far as the video shows it doesn't look like the slip was because of the punch..

if you had a continuous shot of it then you could make a MUCH better conclusion.. So i guess we'll have to take the refs judgement on that one.

Can anyone remember in their second fight Ali nearly stops Frasier but the ref stops it thinking he heard the bell?

Yea i remember that it was the 2nd round wasn't it ??

that was a slip, ali did get hit but it wasn't til another second when he tried to take a step towards frazier then he slip of his own foot.

Ali was really open for left hooks though.

It could have been the second round, I know it was very early in the fight. Padilo was the ref.

Ali was open to a left hook all the time.

the hook just grazed him.id have called it a slip too.great fight.i actually prefer it to the thrilla

I'd say Yes. Ali got nailed. While there was a one second pause between him going down and getting hit, given the ferocity of the punch, its hard to imagine the punch had nothing to do with the "slip."
