The Louisiana State Boxing & Wrestling Commission has placed super middleweight contender Allan Green on indefinite suspension. Green, who hails from from Oklahoma, was scheduled to fight against Antwun Echols on last Friday's ESPN show in Marksville, Louisiana, but failed to appear. He will remain suspended by the state until further notice.

Serves him right....he's probably really regreting what happened especially after seeing how easily he probably would have won anyways.

Well I mean it just means he can't fight in Louisiana so I don't think he'll be that broken up about it. He is an idiot though. Just had to throw that in.

How much hurt could he possibly be going through not being able to fight in Louie?

But it does serve him right....
You know what would put a hurt on him if ESPN never ask's him to fight on their show again. I can see that having some type of effect....

Allan Green is a very superstacious guy. I remember him saying on the ESPN interview that the way he reset himself from his mistakes is by looking at his feet. That's some weird fight strategy I'd say.

That's the thing, who cares if you piss of the commission in Louisiana but a guy like him, its not in his best interest to piss of ESPN.

Doubt this will hurt him at all, but I am glad that they did take action. This guy is always running his mouth about how great he is, but hasn't been able to back it up against the top competition.

Echols will now take on unbeaten Michael "Midnight Stalker" Walker (18-0-1, 12 KOs) after Green suddenly became unavailable. "Green hasn't returned our calls since Monday and missed his plane yesterday," Holden Promotions executive Bobby Dobbs told Fightnews.com. Green was located by Fightnews.com today at the Palm Beach Boxing Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. His only comment: "I'm not in a position to talk about it now." Echols-Walker will part of an attractive double main event card that also features IBF #1 junior middleweight contender Sechew “Iron Horse” Powell (22-1) in action against Kevin Finley.

I loathe Allan Green, watching Edison Miranda beat the shit out of his terrified ass was one of my favorite boxing moments. For a guy who's accomplished relatively little in the boxing world he's one arrogant fucker. I hope he takes another beating the next time he gets tired of fighting hobo's and steps up to someone with a pulse.
