How does a guy who fought his entire career at middleweight get a shot at the Lt. Middle title?

This is the power of the Contender.

Mora has a fight against Taylor, and Mora turned it down.

Manfredo got a shot at Calzaghe.

Gomez is getting a shot at Cotto.

Forbes who was champion, was resurrected by the show sort of and now get's a shot at ODLH

Mora again getting another undeserved title shot with out enough experience under his belt and in untested waters.

The Contender people have pull is all.

It pretty much looks like this Contender thing will come to a complete halt all in one swift blow this year.

The Contender was a quick shot at getting somewhere were you should not be at least not by merit and only got their because of a little popularity. It takes a lot more than being popular to be a champion.

I guess we shall see what happens here.

I'm one of the few people who doesn't mind Mora, but he's done nothing to earn this fight and he doesn't have nearly enough experience to fight a guy Forrests caliber.
I can't image he's going to make more money getting knocked out by Forrest than he would have getting knocked out by Taylor either.
