Thread: Miranda vs Kessler is almost done.

They are detailing some agreements in the contract for fight in May / 24 / 08 . This fight is almost done said Jose Bonilla the Trainer of Miranda , Kessler is putting some condition where are working on that . He put over the table 3 conditions for accept the fight ; First - he don't want fight in Florida State , Second - Miranda have to be no more than 168 pnd. and Third - Kessler want fight a maximus of 10 Rounds ,Bonilla said that these fight going be hard , but put Miranda in the Map with the Victory.

I got the Mikkel Kessler monthly newsletter emailed to me today and he said it's close.

I can understand the insertion of clauses to insure the fight isn't in Florida and they meet the 168 limit, but I thought Kessler would have wanted 12 rounds as he is the more polished boxer and if the fight goes the distance he would be heavily favoured for a points win.

However, I feel that ten rounds will be more than enough to facilitate a gun fight between these two big hitters.

Hi Donny how are doing? I think Kessler put of maximus of 10 rounds with the purpose that they going hit each other like mother f****......

10 rounds sounds sensible since they won't have a really long training camp for this one. Looking forward for this one if someone actually picks it up for British tv.

This is a killer fight.Kessler...the machine..I love this guy.I think he'll beat miranda pillar to post just 1-2 1-2 1-2 ..all night until the KO comes.

Anyone else reminded of Ivan drago when you see Kessler?

You can check you tube for his fight with Marcus Beyer, it's short but it sums up his style well.

The Calzaghe fight was a good Kesler fight too actually!

Have you seen many Miranda fights Macho? I've seen a few but not a lot.

I like this fight if signed.Although this is going to be a rough statement and many will tear me apart but I think Kessler easily wins.Easier than Pavlik did it.Miranda really hasn't been tested by a true 168 pounder and Kessler is not the guy you want to test yourself with.Miranda can punch at 160 but at 168 we don't know.Kessler has every advantage in this weight class.I am going with Kessler by K.O.in 6

Miranda had some great moments against Pavlik. He wasn't that far away from victory there.

He also fucked Abraham up pretty bad.

He definately has a chance against Kessler.

I don't think he was ever in control, nor ahead in that fight. He can't fight backing up, which is what Pavlik made him do the whole time. He landed some nice looking shots but they were basically arm punches. Kessler will easily handle him I think.

Disagree Ono except for one or two moments Miranda was dominated. His feet wern't planted when he was throwing his shots, which lead to a lot of arm punches from Miranda. Miranda did land some good shots in round 1 which stunned Pavlik, but other than that he was forced onto to back foot for the entire fight and he could never get his body into any of his shots.
