Winky Wright recently had a chat with some of his fans to discuss his future plans and much more. Now that Pavlik is out of the picture (although you wouldn't know it by the number of times Wright kept bringing up his name), check out what he had to say about possible fights with Edison Miranda, Mikkel Kessler, Vernon Forrest or a rematch with Bernard Hopkins... basically everyone except Roy Jones Jr...even Miguel Cotto.

Hey mi pana Pacstraightleft , in my opinion i will rooting Winky against Miranda in MW Div. , but in SMW i don't think so , Wnkiy in MW can control Miranda with his good jab , reach and have more speed in that weight , but Miranda in SMW i saw him man...and he looks more strong in that Div.

Agreed. I think Pantera should stay in that div where he really is comfortable.

Miranda would lose to Winky...He would get frustrated by the third round and rely too much on his power and Wright would have his way with him...Mirands only chance would be a KO..and against Winky it isn't happeneing

Is probably i think that we can compare that possible fight between Tito vs Winky in the past.....

Miranda can't make 160, or just doesn't want to. Either way, this fight ain't happening at 160.

I doubt it. I actually think Miranda knocks Winky out. Wright three years ago would have been able to handle Miranda but now imo.

He's looked more and more hittable in successive fights. Sam Soliman was able to land at will, Taylor busted him up, even Ike Quartey had his fair share of success.

I really don't think Winky would be able to stand up to Miranda's power if they fought today.

He might last the 12 rounds but it would be a purely defensive show. He's not got the power to back up Miranda up and Taylor showed that you can just wack away at his guard and still do damage.

Winky's too old for this fight.

Agreed it will not happen, it is like saying I will fight Cotto at 160, that will not happen.

Good article man. I enjoyed reading the transcript especially the guy who called Oscar a she. How can she be an all time great for fighting in 5 megafights if she's lost all 5?
