Thread: My Left Bicep Smaller Than My Right Bicep ??

Ok fellas i have been training for over a year and i've seen good results. But one thing that has always bothered me is that my left bicep is smaller than my right by at least quarter of an inch maybe little more. Just need some help on how to correct this, i have tried working my left more by doing more sets with my left arm doing dumbbell curls but it hasn't really helped so can you guys help out ??

It happens to everyone, ICB. Whichever side is dominate is doing more work.

You need to do some extra work using just your left arm. Various dumbell curls should do the trick. Another angle to take is doing some dumbell curls with your right arm first to weaken it and then do barbell curls so that your left arm has to pick up the slack for your right.

You can build up your left arm ......... lie on it for half an hour until it goes numb, then have a wank with it.

It feels like someone else is giving you a handjob.




(Plus it will build up the muscles!! How about that for multi-tasking?)

my advice would be something that was basically already mentioned.. if you normally use your right hand to take care of yourself, then use your left hand from now on..

jk ICB.. I have the same situation.. if i flex my biceps then you can see a visual distinction between the two, making my right bicep bigger.. i've never tried to correct this, cause i just considered it was normal as i'm right handed..

My own right arm is in great shape, toned and well defined. My left has deteriorated to the point of atrophy.

I have tried using my left hand but it feels awkward and I can't get the proper grip.

yep. my right arm is naturally stonger than my left, but i've done so much work on my left with my pulley system that my left is now bigger and stronger than my right. but my right will always be naturally better coordinated so it doesn't need as much strength.

Interestingly its all down to your eyesight. If righthanded it looks bigger through the right eye the left eye being more shortsighted and egos being bigger than the member forementioned
