Thread: Calzaghe - Hopkins fight odds (and ticket situation)

Put a bet on last night and the odds on a Calzaghe points win is 8/11 !

Hopkins is 5/2 for a points win.

Not worth a bet for that really so went for Calzaghe to win in Round 11 at 25/1.

Hopefully Hop will do a Tszyu and get old in there and quit on his stool....

Noticed that the lowest Hopkins is is 66/1 to KO Calzaghe in a round (think thats for Round 11 or 12)

Interestingly I am still getting last minute emails with late deals as there are still tickets left - should have had it in New York.

Off the 8 people I knew and met up with in Las Vegas for hatton, 6 would have gone to this one had it been in NY. Certainly a lot more of the fans who went to see Hatton would have gone had it been in different location - was too soon to return to Las Vegas.

And too bloody far !

Great to see you betting on our man Joe Calzaghe to win mate.Im a great fan of Joe.Im also a great fan of Hopkins "AS" a boxer.I reckon Calzaghe will fight a long range and keep Hopkins at bay with his Southpaw Jab then if he is doing well he'll go for the grand finish in the later rounds.
Mind you there great odds on Hopkins to win on points like!
