Thread: Calderon-Cazares rematch in the works

not surprising really, I'd like to see Calderon-Solis but even though I thought Calderon won the first one it was close enough for a rematch.

I also thought Calderon won the 1st.

Calderon/ Solis is the fight I want but credit to Calderon for giving Cazares the opportunity that he gave him. I think the weight maybe an issue again for Cazares.

Ivan out boxes Cazares again without the scare this time.

I don't think Calderon won the first fight... he won and displayed all his greatness and boxing skills. I agree that this time Calderon will be more confident. I remember Varcarcel just waiting for Cazares to connect one punch and stop the fight, thinking that Cazares was going to kill Calderon. There was a lot of people worried for the Iron Boy, but he could manage all the weight and strength advantage of Cazares and made a brilliant fight. That fight was a classic, and I expect that Calderon can repeat. But, I believe boxing has to control the weight limit of the boxers the day of the fight.

I'd rather see Calderon move towards cleaning out the div. and fighting Solis then the rematch.

The rematch can be made later.


Either way it'll be great whether it's Solis or Cazares.

I rather see Calderon fight Solis as well. But Cazares does deserve a rematch. I had him winning the first fight.

It was close fight & with the knockdown Cazares deserves a rematch. But I thought Calderon won by a round, possibly 2

I had Calderon winning but Hugo is his mandatory and also, had some of the other knockdowns in the fight been called, Cazares would hav won. It was an aweosme close fight. I can't believe Ivan moved up and beat the man in that diviosn in his first fight!! A guy who was like 5 division bigger than him! THAT's P4P!
