Thread: Maya lost my checkbook today...

Earlier today I went into the courthouse to write a check to pay for my tag stickers. After I was done, I put the checkbook in my pocket. I remember getting into the work truck, putting the tag stickers inside the work truck (I didn't drive my personal vehicle to the tag office), then later putting them inside my car. I THOUGHT I had put my checkbook inside my car, but it may have fell out at some time or another. Hell, I may have even layed it down in teh work truck, but just didn't think about it and can't remember it now.

Anyway, if I go by the bank tomorrow, is there a way they can prevent any money being taken from my checking account by letting them know my checkbook is missing?

As long as you notify them tomorrow that it was lost today you'll be fine.

In seriousness, just notify the bank

Turns out I left it in the dumptruck that I had to drive for a short period of time yesterday. Twas safe & sound overnight. (Although the doors for that truck were not locked... )
