Thread: Research paper

I am going to be writing a paper on the anatomy of a boxing gym.
So I need to comprise a list of the equipment and people that would
be in a gym. This is general in nature and doesn't need to cover
off the wall stuff, just standard things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Combo dummies, uhhh mouthguards, when I think of the gym I used to go to for boxing (just for fun) I always think of medicine balls and blood-splattered fight posters (they were right by the sparring ring).

newspaper clippings of past club fights. timer, mirrors, music.

better add cup and kidney protector to that list of equip.

first low blow sparring and itll remind ya of it fast.

if this is for a sports/coaching class, you might be ok.
if this is for a business class, you failed.

what about a cash register, computer/printer, and credit card swiper/pos machine? Or is your gym free? A camera for taking member pics and/or issugin member cards, security cameras for when someone dies in the ring and you need to prove you weren't negligent? (I belonged to a gym where this actually happened. an old timer had a heard attack while sparring and doed right there in the ring. The cameras got the gym out of deep shit.) What about your operating license with the state, region, city, etc? The actual installed security system to protect your inventory?

I added a few to one of my above posts, killersheep.

The timer and mirrors really are important. Music is good, but the other 2 are crucial.

Actually you have a point,We have an original Ali/Frazier ad, Ali standing over Liston screaming at him,and B-hop in our gym

This is my gym in it's entirity and it is the best Irish amateur club with 27 county champions, 12 provincial titilists and Seven National titles this year alone.

7 x Punch bags. 4 Standard 2 Heavy 1 Maize

1 x Ring

1 x Floor to Ceiling Ball

3 x Mirrors

1 x Timber floor space

50 x Pairs of Gloves

10 x Pairs of pads

What do your gyms do as far as payment goes? Is there a monthly/weekly fee?
