Thread: Do we think Forrest has a chance?

I know Griffin has many haters around these parts so I was interested in yalls perspective. Griffin is what he is. He comes in top shape and always brings his best. He has a great beard and decent power. I'd give him a B- on striking with pretty good takedown defense. Rampage is definately the more polished striker with both better technique and power. Neither of these guys usually choose to fight on the ground so unless Forrest decides to change it up I think we can expect most of it to be on the feet. I don't think Forrest is really the stronger guy so I don't know if trying to fight out of the clinch is much of an option either. I think Forrest's only chance is to come up with a great gameplan to keep Page off his rythm and attempt to outwork him. I'd say he has a 20% shot. Any thoughts?

I think you summed it up quite well actually,I dont think its going past the 1st tbh,I can see Forrest getting slammed a couple of times n then getting stopped at the end of the 1st GnP.Forrest is'nt really good enough at anything 2 have any edge on Rampage,cant see a upset here!

over the years ive learned to expect the unexpected in this game. Forrest has a puncher's chance, a heart the size of the moon, and is just plan tough.

I'll take him to upset rampage based solely on guts.

they both my favorite fighters out there and I know this wont be easy on either guy. Forrest will not go down easy, page will have a hard time with forrest win or lose.

I don't want to see either guy lose im just hoping for a draw

I would'nt even give him a punchers chance,Rampages chin is grannit,and Forrests power aint up 2 much at all!

We were all impre3ssed when he beat Shogun, but before that he got beat up by Jardine. He admitted himself later that he had been intimidated by Jardine.

Now...no disrespect to Keith Jardine....but Rampage is a league above the "dean of mean", god I hate that nickname.
Rampage, physically is the No.1 light heavy.
I think he's decveloping very well stylistically and mentally to compliment this and I feel that Griffin, as hungry as he is, is going to get shredded up again like he did against Shogun (?)

I know you can't go by common opponets, but it is funny how hardly anyone gives Forrest a chance when you look at what he did against Shogun and what Shogun did to Rampage.

Two very different Rua's

Forrest is gonna get grinded down plain and simple... Rampage is an animal and makes a living out of punishing people, no subs just straight up ass kicking and slams.

Forrest to me is fragile and emotional, like Alan stated if he was scared of Jardine he is gonna shit himself against Rampage

Remeber bfore he beat Shogun, he kept saying "I'm not that great of a fighter etc. etc."
