This is shaping up to be an interesting week. That HBO card is top flight. Gutierrez - Angulo is going to be an absolute war! You could make an argument that those are the two hardest hitters at 154. That is going to be great.

Yuriorkis Gamboa - Darling Jiminez is also great matchmaking. That's probably the most interesting fight on the schedule right now at least to me it is. Could you imagine if Jiminez won? I haven't seen his losses but he's been plenty impressive in victory each time I've seen him which isn't all that many times.

I just changed my mind from buying the Arce fight cuz Ulysis Solis - Glenn Donaire card got cancelled. I guess I'll just tivoe Gamboa fight, and purchase the Mijares-Munoz.

I'm sure that if they could have gotten Mijares/Munoz on free HBO or Showtime they would have done it. But they couldn't I guess and its much too big of a fight for ESPN so what else can you do but put it on PPV?

Networks fault really, Mijares/Munoz is a big time fight and it should be the main event of its own HBO or Showtime free card but I guess they figure not enough people care about little guys.

Great night of boxing, HBO free card, Mijares/Munoz on Sopcast.
