Thread: Information On Kevin Rooney

I am currently making an effort to get in contact with Kevin Rooney, Mike Tyson's former trainer. If anyone has any lead or contact information on Mr. Rooney, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

The latest Ring magazine did an article on Rooney. I haven't read it yet, but it may be of help to you.

Rooney/Tyson were the most deadliest and fearsome combo in sport.

Without eachother they just dont match up, like renee and renata, torvill and dean, the 2 ronnies!

and i imagine like iron mike rooney is not exactly in the position in his life he imagined he would be in!!

Last I heard, he's not working at the club in Catskill because he's um.. " unwell "? Apparantly he had a problem with drinking and a few other things based on what I've heard.

Also, this was only about a week ago or less, so chances are not much has changed.

I should probably inform you though that the club is open, still free, and still has several knowledgable guys working there. Lenord Pierre is one guy in particular who was trained by Kevin and fought professionally for a little while ( Last fight was against Pavlik in Youngstown, which was far from his best performance ).

If you're really interested in it I have a couple numbers you could call and what not.
