Default Alfredo Angulo is a monster in the making!

You can see this guy has been sparring with Tony Marg ALOT,heck they look alike. He's sharper with his punches and throws awesome combos, if he can show the stamina and toughness Margarito has, when Tony retires,Perro will be my next Mrgarito!!!

    And Angulo beats Kirkland.

I think Kirkland would spark him tbh. His defence is very leaky. He came back well from being hurt tho. Be very interesting to watch anyway.

To me Angulo looks like Cotto when he started and took a lot of unnecesary punches with his poor defense , but Angulo can improve his defense at the time , he is good i liked how he focused in finish Gutierrez with a good determination..................

If he can get rid of that bling dog collar I'll be a fan, he is very entertaining to watch, you can see he is still a little raw in the talent department and sacrifices a lot of defense so he can throw more. His output is great though and he punches a lot harder than most people that throw at that volume.

Anglulo has alot going for him at the moment..

And for the record in my opinion gutierezz is the way up the level then conyers as an opponent..

Im intrigued at the Alfredo - Kirkland fight for sure.. But for the reason of last satudays bouts altohugh both impressive i would still sway angulo..

Ans p.s when i said conyers i meant albert.. Lol i just had the conyers fight on the brain (Y) *EDIT*

I think Angulos a bit raw still and has things to improve. His defense needs work and he needs to learn to use his jab more it's so effective when he uses it.

With Kimbo Slice at his corner i guess he can be monster in the making.

El Perro needs to split from Gary Shaw n Showtime and join Top Rank or Golden Boy.

Hmmm...that's why my 2 favourite fighters are about to be involved in a mega war which is viewed as 50-50(Cotto and Margarito). That's why Pongsaklek Wonjongkam was Flyweight champ for all those years Ahhhaha, just playing man.

Perro is raw, and he does underuse his jab but you can see the skills are there. He can definitely become something at 154.

I might lean towards Kirkland. I think its one of two things, Kirkland overwhelms him early or Angulo survives the early rounds and ends up breaking him down cause he's sturdier.

    I don't know if he's a monster. We'll see.

Heh, I'll get back to you after Cotto embaresses Tony. And I certainly wasn't reffering to Cotto as not having talent. Just Margarito really.

Angulo lets him self get a little face first at times. He has a solid foundation with Punch set, straight right and capable jab.Seemingly strong mentaly also but Should not neglect defense.Right now,I would pick him to Beat Kirkland, Who's defense is even more wanting but throws bricks.....time will tell.
