Default Herbie Hide to return as Cruiserweight

Glass jawed Herbie Hide is apparently making his latest comeback as a Cruiserweight. He wants a warm up fight with Carl Thompson and then wants "The Entertainer" Johnny Nelson

    Can he be a force??

Yes he can, the cruiserweight division has got plenty of chinny punchers, Hide will fit in well

I agree. The division is actually a lot more exciting than the heavies at the moment.

Keep him away from Mormeck though.

I dunno alot about Herbie Hide, but Mormeck isn't all that, he looked pretty bad in his last fight against some bum and he's getting on in years.. Maybe the loss to Bell took alot out of him.

do me favour and say this is just a joke because thats all old herbie is a joke, years ago he had a comeback against vitali klickho got ko'd in the 2nd, ok vitalis a class act.............but he then got ko'd in his next 10000000 comebacks by guys no ones ever heard of

he should stay retired, no one will have any interest in a man who's last fights were clean out cold ko's against bums

Good division for Hide, an underrated division in my opinion, some good talent there.

Two-time WBO heavyweight champion-turned cruiserweight Herbie Hide (36-4, 35 KOs) returned to action in spectacular fashion, dropping an overmatched Mitch “Hold My Beer” Hicks (3-6) four times before the referee mercifully stopped the fight at 1:24 into the first round. Hide tipped the scale at 198 lbs for the bout.

There is some good fights at Cruiserweight for hide.I dont think it will be to long till we see him ko'ed tho there is some big punchers that he should stay away from.

Herbie was in the unfortunate position that is having a heavyweight punch, a cruiserweights frame, and a featherweights chin, I think David Haye would beat him even when he was prime, but it would be a hell of a fight.

Four knockdowns in 1.24 is pretty good going. The problem is that both Thompson and Nelson are retired, so I doubt that he's going to get fights with those guys. He needs to have a few more fights before he's even considered for a fight for any title, even David Haye's Euro title. And as for that fight, I reckon Haye could end it fairly soon, even after his lacklustre performance last time out.
