A rematch with Joe is silly...Kessler wasnt even very close. Hopkins is probably retired now too. I actually think Kessler could beat an old Hopkins though.

Kessler just needs to get fighting and clean up at SMW....well within his grasp.

Kessler shook Calzaghe alot if they had a rematch i think Kessler gets it right this time and stops Calzaghe but the fight won't happen.

Kessler should not be allowed back in the ring with Calzaghe, It was a clear win for Calzaghe and a good necessary fight at the time. But Kess would be better served trying to clean up the remains of the SMW division.

    As for Kess-Hopkins never happen.

I like Kessler and this was an interesting interview

My respect for Kessler grows hearing him say this:

"I went to the US to see Kelly Pavlik against Jermain Taylor and I were shocked when the announced Pavlik as the winner of the fight. I truly believed that Taylor won the fight with several points, but I'm just a boxer and not judge…"

I think Kessler would beat Hopkins similar to how Taylor beat Hopkins, using his great jab and the occasional right hand, Kessler is more robotic than Taylor but i still feel he could beat Hopkins. I think Kessler would beat Hopkins more convincing than Calzaghe did IMO.

I say to Kessler stop (wet) dreaming and get fighting. Go to US and make a name for yourself!

Kessler should look for a fight with Taylor/Pavlik/Abraham/Miranda/Winky or even Lacy, beating any of these and he's right back in the mix. He shouldn't bother with Hopkins, he's alot to do at supermiddle before moving up

I'd love to see Kessler/Taylor, or Kessler/Pavlik - although that one would probably be down the road a bit.

I thought he was pretty competetive against Calzaghe, but there was no doubt (in my mind, anyway) as to the winner. I imagine a rematch would be the same.

I think realistically Calzaghe only has a couple of fights left, he'll be looking for big fights and even though I loved the first Kessler fight, a rematch is all risk no gain for Joe, I think Pavlik beats Lockett then Calzaghe fights him and retires.

You're probably right - the only way Joe might stick around after that is if Pavlik won a close decision. You know he'd have to try and avenge that!

Yeah couldn't see him leaving on that note, be good though could set up a pretty nice triology
