Thread: Newcastle Brown Ale is fucking good beer.

Bought a 6-pack a few minutes ago and just cracked one. This is some damn good beer.

i forgot how good Magic Hat #9 is til i had it at a graduation party from a keg.. bought a pack of it for the Celt's game the other day and thoroughly enjoyed it

I'd never had it before, but I was standing in the checkout line at the liquor store, and the guy in front me said it was the best beer he's had, the clerk agreed, so I headed back to the fridge and picked some up. A wise impulse to follow. I've been drinking Sleeman's 20th Anniversary beer lately, which is outstanding, but I've decided to try a different beer each time I pick up a 6 pack now.

My favorite beer is Whiskey - or Bourbon - or Tequila. I'm not too particular!

But I do really like Newcastle - good stuff.

Keith's is ok, not one of my favorites. I prefer Sleemans. When I was a kind I used to drink Wildcat like it was water. That and Ironhorse, TNT or Molson XXX, thank God those days are over.

loanstar,Old Milwaukee , hinikinten penny were the worst i ever had

i like blue, molson canadian, keiths, scooner is good also

cant drink wildcat any more it was cheap and not bad for a cheap beer
but ill get sick off er if i have more than 6

You lucky bum. I love magic hat #9 but can't get it down here in Florida. Whenever I go back home to NY I always drink that stuff its so good.

New Castle is definately some good beer. I actualy picked up some Murphys Stout this past weekend I forgot how good that stuff is, first time I had any in about year or two.

New Castle is good stuff....I like Smithwick's too

Just bought a 6 pack of Smithwick's on your recommendation. It's pretty good, but I prefer the Newcastle.

It's an acquired taste. I remember when I was about 14ish, I got absolutely hammered of two 40oz'ers of O.E. (lame and typical, I know) and some raspberry ale. I couldn't even take a sip of beer for at least a year after that, even a tiny bit would make me gag. Good times.
