    Default Anyone have a PSP?

I'm going away (to the middle of nowhere) for 6 weeks and I was thinking of picking one of these to keep me entertained, but I am unsure if I should. Does anyone have one, and if so what is your opinion on it. I've done a bit of reading up on them and one thing that keeps coming up is the very short battery life. I don't want to have to pack hundreds of batteries...

Cool, thanks for the response. Car charger won't do me any good I'm afraid, as I'll be living in a tent on relatively remote island with no cars around.

yeah man I always use my PSP its the business! My advice if your getting one is to find someone who can hack it 4 u, the newer ones are tricky to hack but u should find someone to do it easily enough, get a decent size memory stick and your all set, I have Snes,Genesis,GBA,MAME and lots more emulators on it, u can also just download the psp games and put them on your memory stick, real easy to do! Plays movies and music, has internet! just get one already

well they don't take triple A or double A betteries, they have a build in one that your suppose to charge. I guess you can buy the required batteries for a psp but its best to just be able to charge it then to keep replacing it when it runs out. so just make sure you have a place to charge it, hopefully the middle of nowhere your going has electricity if not then your going to be kicking yourself buy lots of psp batteries.

I'd recommend a psp but not if you can't charge it, like a ipod I wouldn't reccommend that as well cause batteries for that aren't replaceable.

I assumed it ran on regular batteries. That seals it then, I won't be buying it as there will be nowhere to charge it.

I just picked up an excellent book, called Before the Deluge: A Portrait of Berlin in the 1920s. Excellent book for any history buff.

I've got a handfull of consoles from Atari to PS3.

    I've got 2 gameboys and I've got a PSP.

Really enjoy the PSP if I'm honest but since I got my phone & I-Pod I've used it less and less. When my little brothers come over they have a field day playing everything here.

Anywhoe the DS is now the thing I've been playing I'm addicted to the Sonic : Olympics game.
