Hmm Marky Mark as Mickey huh?

I'll definately give it a shot. Should be a pretty big movie with him and Brad Pitt. Ward deserves to be recognized more to the general public, true working class hero that guy.

Yeah, apparently Donnie Wahlberg has been trying to push this movie for years and has so far been overlooked for a part

I was skeptical at first. Ward's personality seems rather bland for a motion picture. But I've read some stuff about his family and how messed up there are, and it can make some good drama for a film.

Apparently, Micky's mother would send him to fight even when he was injured or not prepared for the fight. They needed money. Micky's father used to scam senior citizens out of their money. His half-brother allowed himself to be filmed smoking crack in a documentary called "Lost Lives in Lowell" or something like that. They showed a clip I think during Micky's fight with Sanchez. Ecklund apparently was clean enough and got things together for awhile, then sold Micky's story for the money. And now he's a suspect or at least a person of interest in a murder.
