Thread: Povetkin Army invades Wladimir Klitschko´s press conference in Hamburg !!!

An army of Povetkin fans today invaded Wladimir Klitschko´s press conference in Hamburg. A doubledecker bus loaded with 25 flag-waving Russian models, who were dressed in army uniforms, created a special party atmosphere. Joining the scene were a ring announcer in a black-tie outfit as well as a DJ. The Povetkin army handed out Russian vodka, Russian sweets and Povetkin t-shirts ("Klitschko – I want you") to the local fans. The army was there to remind Klitschko that he has to make a mandatory defense against Povetkin later this year. "Thompson has deserved to fight me. He has waited for one year," Klitschko commented during today's presser. "Povetkin is still young. I am happy to give him the time to prepare for me." Povetkin could not join his army in Hamburg today as he is in the final stages of the preparation for his July 19 showdown with Taurus Sykes which will take place in Chekhov, his home town.

Well he did win the eliminator against Chambers....he was supposed to be first in line. You know how these organizations work, they say one thing one day, and another the next.

Povetkin will need a few of those guys to help carry the stretcher when Wlad lays him out. They sure are in a hurry to see their man get beat up.

Povetkin should be glad that he doesn't have to face klit yet, cause I'm pretty sure he'd get f'ed up inside 6 rounds. I mean klitschkos jab isn't just goint to give him a cut eye like chambers' did but give him a whole new look and it wouldn't look pretty.

The Thompson/Krasniqi fight last year was also an eliminator...I guess Wladi works them off one after another...
