Hi my name is Jordan im 15 years old and have been boxing about 2 years i am around 100kg my goal is to get down to about 88kg.I am on a calorie controlled diet which i put myself on i have around 1300 calories a day, I would like to lose weight, my diet consists of the following:
Breakfast
Break at school about 11am
- Bran Flakes with milk
- Glass of water
Lunch
- Small bag of popcorn only around 95 calories
- Chewee bar (cereal bar low-calorie)
Dinner
- Pitta Bread (instead of bread)
- one tablespoon of mayonnaise (instead of butter and adds flavour)
- Wafer thin ham around 3 or 4 slices
- French fries crisps (low fat crisps)
I usually have chicken, vegetables, maybe onions and maybe add a little chilli sauce only small amount.
Then i usually have a yoghurt
I have training four nights a week which consists of:
Warm ups with skipping and shadowboxing.
Running (around mile and a half).
Exercises including pressups, situps, leg raises, pike jumps, squatthrusts, burpes and sometimes other things.
Then we go onto the punchbags for 3 rounds around 3 minutes each round.
Then i use the medicine ball doing 15 pressups onto the ball then 15 pressups pushing myself over the other side then i lie down and push my legs over my head to touch the ball 15 times, I usually do 4 rounds. Then warm down with skipping and stretches.
I then either have a little bit of chicken left-over from dinner or a bowl of bran flakes with milk.
