Matthew Saad Muhammad both are my favorite Light Heavyweights of all time what a match up this would of been its a shame Matthew Saad Muhammad come along little too late to fight Bob Foster.

I think Foster would have been far too good though. I don't think that he ever got beat at LHW.

Foster my all time favorite fighter. Would have picked him over any lightheavy prime for prime. Of course that's just a die hard fan boy speaking

I think Bob Foster would win but Matthew Saad Muhammad was physically very strong and had amazing chin at his best.......

I think he would of tested Bob Foster severly especially his hearts/guts/will but i can see the brave Matthew Saad Muhammad being stopped on his feet but it would be Ring Magazines FOTY for certain.

This is not fair.....Im bipolar on this one.Heart says Saad,Brain say's Foster.Matthew was one guy I saw a tape on and immediately made it a point to get everything I could find.Love his fire and he would often engage his opponents as I wish I could live life Lol.Saad's sheer work rate,volume and tenacity would hold him in good stead but the take two to land one would catch up to him.Foster was just undeniable at his best and I think he resists the temptation to fall into a brawl and really times Saad with that hellacious power and jab.He may get rocked a couple but down the stretch I think Foster gets him in an action fight.

Saad is a favorite of mine, but I just find it hard to pick guys who get hit as often as he did over freakish punchers in the Foster/Arguello/Jackson category.

Saad had boxing skills too, but so did Foster.
