i kno boxrec is not always the best source of info for future fights, but it does say hes coming back to fight a guy whose one yr older then him.

do u think hes going to pull a holyfield and get a title shot fighting shot fighters?

God I hope not...Pull a Holyfield?? Bowe is shot to s!!!! and should be eating Apple sauce in a lazy boy recliner right now.I don't even see him beating A Fres Oquendo

Absolutely right. Bowe made just about every wrong decision one can make. If he had made just a few of the right decisions he would have been held in the same kind of regard as Lewis is now, or higher.

Riddick returned last year.
His return saw him arriving terribly overweight and looking like hell.

He claimed he wanted to mount a comeback as he felt he hadn't gained any respect in his prime or achieved what he should have, yet he never made an honest effort to come in condition.

That's hard to do when you have no money left.

Bowe is broke. He fought once in 2005 but has not fought since. He has problems getting fit and he cant get licensed in many states because of his documented brain damage he has sustained. (His defense at his trial for kidnapping his wife was that he had brain damage from boxing)

I heard while ago that there were talks of Riddick Bowe vs Tony Tubbs 2 call me crazy but years ago i would have liked to have seen the rematch......

Tony Tubbs made Riddick Bowe miss punches after punches and outslicked and outboxed Riddick Bowe and was robbed of a decision except the first round when Riddick Bowe hurt Tony Tubbs he could never make it his type of fight where as Tony Tubbs controlled Riddick Bowe from the outside with his jab......

Riddick Bowe always did struggle against a good jab thats why he also had trouble with Tyrell Biggs, Andrew Golota, Riddick Bowe doesn't know how to get out of the way of a double jab and it seems to offset his rhythm.

yea hes bankrupt, also hes a convicted felon i belive for his kidnapping of his wife and children

so its hard to find a good job

hes screwd either way even if he makes money i bet he'll spend it in half a yr

back for what?

Bowe has been shot for years. It's makes no sense for him to keep fighting. But what can you do when you need the money? Bowe made good money. But legal cases and divorce cases add up.
