No matter what anyone says...that was a great fight. I knew Taylor had that won after the 3rd round. Great fight.

All respect to my boy & my younger boy.

    Fantastic.

to everyone that was for or against Bernard or Taylor...that fight was fabulous. The better man won. I loves 'em both but that was fantastic fight.

Props to all & to all a good night.

Sorry for the lack of WDRBR that I could not do...my server was down. Taylor done good.

Hopkins was my hero until he made fun of my Home State. Now I hate him.
But he fought good the last half of the fight.Thank god for Taylor that Hopkins
was'nt busier earlier.Taylor needs to work more on diffrent combinations.
Because the jab and straight right started looking like a broken record.
Hopkins just ducked to the left everytime Taylor threw his right. If he
picked up on it earlier he coulda threw that left hook that would have
made a difference.CONGRATS TAYLOR REPRESENT MY STATE!!!!

Yes I'm a Taylor fan, but I have to say that Hopkins could have won if he would have fought in the first few rounds instead of trying to show off. Â I don't think the rematch will be anything like that. They both have the feel of each other and it should be a hell of a fight. I can't wait.!

From the sounds of it, it was bernards work rate that let him down. Apparently he came to life in the last 4 rounds. Maybe 1 round sooner and he would still be champ.

I believe thats exactly what it was and he even told his corner late that he was going to knock Taylor out. It didn't happen, one I believe is that Hopkins does not have a knock out punch and two he thought he won rounds by dancing around and taking hits. Taylor was tired at the end and frustrated because the jabs were easily dodged by Hopkins. But Hopkins only great hit was a head butt to the top of Taylors head that caused bleeding throughout the later rounds. It's gonna be a great rematch.

For me Taylor didn't let Hopkins work in the early rounds, he fought a good tactical fight at that stage and B-Hop only caught up with him when he slowed in the latter stages and stopped using the jab. Â I wanted and picked Hopkins to win but in reality I cannot make a case for that, taylor was too good at the start of the fight. Â

Do you all really believe what you are saying It hurts to know that any true boxing fan thought Taylor deserved to take the title. Even Taylor knew he lost. Pathetic. I will never lie to myself or others and aknowledge Taylor won. Just a complete Robbery.

I'm so happy that Hopkins was exposed tonight. Wacko is trying to sound gracious but thats only because he's trying to avoid eating crow. If the ref would have taken  a point or two from Hopkins like he should have nobody would be calling for a rematch. They're not in the same league . IMO Taylor or anyone else 4 that matter would start wearing down from dirty tactics like that. That is what Hopkins has based his career on but this time at least two judges were watching the fight. Then he talks about how he was unmarked and Taylor was bloody and lumped.lol. I don't recall Taylor grabbing him with both gloves by the back of the head and punching him with his back turned while holding. Anyway it was a good night for real boxing fans , but a bad night for bandwagon hoppers that bought into the Hopkins Hype. Â

    C'mon Hulk, that's crap.

Hopkins spent far too many rounds posing and trying to get in Taylors head with street tactics. Sure he looked great in the last 4, but he let too many slip away. And even though he won his rounds bigger than Taylor won his, they were still only 10-9 rounds.

I had Taylor up by 1 round. Close fight, but I don't see how you could call it a robbery. The judge who had Hopkins up by 116-112 needs his head read.......

I am NOT a hopkins fan.....by any means
and i think hopkins really did himself in by not winning earlier rounds......it was apparent in the beginning of the fight that taylor was the faster of the 2 fighters.....
but this fight would have been better off as a draw....that way hopkins would have retained his title and would have been forced to fight in the rematch........i think at least one of those last 4 rounds was worthy of a 10-8 as hopkins pretty much dominated taylor later on...

    116-112 for hopkins was rediculous...

but so was taylor winning the 12th round on a judges scorecard........

You shouldn't be able to win the title like that.....end of story.
