The company responsible for this must be counting their losses, it's turned out to be a right damp squib.

If I was in charge of this I'd have at least thrown in a couple crocodiles by now to make it a little more interesting.

How about some mongoose just to generate some friction and give the show a little bit of excitement at least.

I don't know; the little space he is living in is in a national park; so all the visitors are probably dropping $$$ into the "jar" as they enter the park. I think they have raised a considerable amount; I saw him post how much they had made up to this point last week, pretty substantial. He'll probably get tagged when he's packing up to leave though

Judging by the amount the replies his photo's got ( a single one in each thread) I'd say this is going down a storm in the reptile community

No TRR is a forum run by a guy here in the states. He had just posted them right before I saw them; and weekends are slow on all the reptile forums cause' I guess they're all out looking for snakes or something. Tomorrow it'll get flooded with responses.

He needs that live cam. This has actually sparked my interest in learning more about them, but would like to see the interaction in real time. Plus feeding time! From what I've learned, they get kookie at feeding time.

I posted a little while ago asking when he plans on adding more video. He'll probably put some video up this week.

Also, here is what he can look forward to should he get tagged by one of those puff adders. This vid is of a rattlesnake bite, but puffers have the same type of tissue destroying venom, plus a neurotoxin like cobras. He does risk alot.

Legion they have made up a song called "Picadura De La Cobra Gay" which translates to "The Gay Cobra Bite"...

The lyrics are something like....
"The gay cobra bite, if he bites you he turns you gay."

Legion my grandpa loves this guy. He has seen a documentary that was similar to what this guy is doing, I've seen on the site and on the forum them mention it before, that's who he thought they were talking about. He has his main website the madmartin one bookmarked and everything. I showed my brother too, very interesting stuff I just couldn't imagine how crazy that would be 24 hours for a 3rd of a year.

Your Granfather is probably thinking about Austin Stevens, as he did this and has the world record of "sitting" with venomous snakes. MArtin and Austin are good friends and both very active with charities and herpetology. You might have seen Austin on National Geographic as he's done several snake series shows.

I was lookiing for a couple of vids and saw that and must say it is one of the most bizarre things I ever saw. I'll definately make sure I never get bit now; as being gay isn't on my top prioriteis list, lol.
