Thread: Who hates Yahoo Answers with a passion?

Dizaster does!!!

I hate that it's called Yahoo "Answers" when 99% of replies are just "opinions", "guesses", "speculation". A lot of the time, by people who clearly have no experience of the actual topic.. They throw out a guess. Sometimes a quick guess which is wrong.. Sometimes a giant 2000 word essay of logical talk which is still just guessing bullshit..
The rest of the time someone will state their answer as fact because "they've done it 100 times that way and that is how it goes". Then the very next answer will be someone giving an answer that 100% opposes the above, and they also state clearly that "they have experience of it and know their answer is 100% correct".. It's Bullshit!!!

You know what, would it kill any single one of them to put the two words at the start of their reply "I'm guessing".... Or even "in my experience".. Or "in my opinion"..

They all just state as facts.. The leave no ambiguity where they say "but this is just me, others could have had a different experience".. Nope, it's just if they have 1% experience of it and it's this way for them, then that's it.. That's the definitive answer...


I've read a question that had 12 answers and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them was absolutely wrong.. Wrong in that the people had absolutely no experience of the topic, yet they all answered as if they did. Then Yahoo closed of the topic as being answered.....

It realllllly drives me insane...

Especially if you need to actually go on there and hope to have something answered..

Not only do you not get questions answered - You become even more fucking dumb for reading other people's answers.

Literally, I felt myself getting dumber the more I read from that website..

People need to know the difference between opinion/guess & FACT... And even when something can be FACT, there is always a 5% chance that something could contradict that Fact... Yet "Yahoo Morons" who bound through that place answering every question they can and answering them fucking wrong, no nothing of fact or fiction... They were dumb..


If there is Police and lockup for bad evil murder people, there needs to be Police and lockup for dumbass moron spread stupity people...

You can always ask me stuff you want to know the answer to Diz, as you know I'll always voice the correct opinion on any topic

Diz: A lot of people are just trying to get their score up (you get 2 points for answering a question, and 10 points for getting chosen as "best answer"). Although yahoo answers have helped answer some questions for me in the past (as some people who DO know what they're talking about will help you out), I have had enough spam replies to fill up the Spam section of this forum.
