Default Khan - Expelling the myth of the monstrous knockout

Breidis Prescott, the heavy handed and somewhat ugly slugger got lucky on the night he got a win on his record against Amir Khan. He was very lucky and bizarrely the truth was never fully explored as it will been in this article. People were quick to say Amir Khan had a glass chin, that he was never that good anyway and that he will never win a world title. These same people have been hoping Khan would fall, and not get up, for four years. There are some shocking revelations I am about to make, so please read on if you are a true boxing fan.

Prescott came into the ring with 17 knockouts, 10 in the first two rounds. Khan was coming off a string of knockouts, 4 in his last 5 fights. The fight was hyped and everyone was interesting in seeing Khan fight Prescott. Two unbeaten fighters, with similar records.People knew that this was a REAL PPV event, and were glad it was only £15. We all felt priviledged.

The stark contrasts between the two fighters are there for the plain eye. Khan, a tall, elegant, handsome man who looks like he stepped out of a Hollywood film set against the lankier, larger framed Presccot, goofy, ugly (in comparison to Khan tho, who isnt ugly?) and looks like he had been chewing wasps for dinner. In the looks department, it was a total mismatch. Khan doesn’t gel his hair like a metro sexual, he has other people do it for him for Allahs sake, thats the kind of greatness he has.

Khan is a great jabber, throwing more then 10 jabs per round and landing over 50%, he undoubtedly has the greatest jab of any British fighter. Everyone was expecting Khan to throw more jabs, beat Presscott up a little, but not lose. As the fat ring announcer announces the fighters, Khan looks distant. He looks drowsy and drugged. He looks covered in Vaseline, or some other substance, and I’m pretty sure I can see injections marks on his body. Prescott looks like he knows something, he knows he is cheating. He is fighting out of the blue corner. Blue for cheating, probably. Khan looks at the floor the whole time. “For Gods sake,” I screamed at the TV “there going to to try and break him!” It was one of those moments where they whole world remembered where they are. Like when JFK was shot in the head, when George Bush almost choked on a pretzel, and when Cilia Black announced she was retiring from Blind date.

The bell goes for the first round. Khan looks shocked, this isn’t the real Khan. Still, he comes out and lands 3 hard jabs that wobble Prescott. Damn, Khan looks sharp. Prescot couldn’t land anything, in the opening five seconds. On the stroke of the 7th second of the fight however Prescott lands a hard shot onto Khans model like face. It was a jab, a mean jab out of a Stephen King novel which had nuclear warheads attatched to it. Khan slips on some water in the ring, his legs buckle, his shoes were probably too big for him or something similar to that effect. Khan took that jab well, like a champion, he is showed seven different kinds of heart. Then Prescott rushes in, and pushes Khan around. Khan exchanges blows with Prescott, but falls down. The effects of the drugging and Vaseline taking its toll, as well as elbows from Prescott which the referee didn’t do anything about. In normal conditions, they wouldn’t even hurt Khan, they don’t give out Olympic silver medals for coming second.

Khan falls down in slow motion, it was as if he was almost able to control the speed of his felling. Khan looks hurt, inside his bod, I am almost completely convinced the other team has drugged him. Khan, like a hero with an arrow in his chest, like Gibson in Braveheart, gets up. He bites into his gumshield, the referee lets him fight on. Khan is a damned hero. Prescott rushes in and hits Khan hard, real hard. I estimate he punches harder then Jack Dempsey, maybe three to four times as hard. He looks more natuarally like he should be a heavyweight, but they got him down to 135 pounds of terror.

Khan can’t get up, the fight is called off. But then suddenly, Khan does get up. He is absolutely fine, but the ref smothers his mouth as he takes out his gum shield, probably drugging him some more. He complains, he knows he could have continued, we all do. He was winning the round on points before he got hit. Prescott is named the victor. Here are some facts:-

Khan was not ready for the fight
Khan was fine to fight on
Khan had too much Vaseline on him
Khan didn’t even know he was meant to be fighting that night, he thought it was in a few weeks. His SKY PLUS box malfunctioned, he thought it was Friday because his coronation street episode was not recorded. Totally ruined training camp.
Khan was drugged, somehow. Perhaps via psychic channelling, which is illegal tactics.
Khan was winning the fight, he landed the cleaner, harder punches, but was just unlucky to get caught in such a fashion.
Khan wobbled Prescott with every one of the four punches he landed
Khan was robbed of fighting fairly, but not of his pride or dignity.
Khan had hurt his toe in the dressing room, and this seriously damaged his balance. I saw it in the warm up, although like a real man he didn’t say anything.
Khan landed the more convincing shots off the fight, faster, fuller, better looking ones.
Khan took the loose well, didn’t complain. It’s up for his true supporters to do that for him.
Khan drives a range rover, A RANGE ROVER.

For some reason a lot of people are calling Khan china chinned. He has never been knocked out before, and this wasn’t a true knockout loss. In fact, Prescott hardly hit Khan, so how does he have a china chin if it isn’t a real loss? To me, and most Khan fans, he is still unbeaten.

There is no more that can be said about this fight. Khan was robbed, and this fight should be changed to a DQ win for Khan, as Prescott cheated. I hope this has opened your mind and shown you the light.

But what a great card it was, Cook looked excellent, and Audley looked amazing. You can tell he hits hard because in the 10th round he was going WAH, WAH everytime he threw a punch, which doubles the punching power.

Let’s hope Khan gets an immediate rematch, with Scott Lawton.

    Yours in manliness,
    Fantana
