Default I've become an unlikely Noel Edmonds fan

He's canceled his tv license as a protest over their threatening behaviour and intimidation tactics.

About time a high profile person stood up and said the BBC are kunts.

Fuck the tv license, I never watch the BBC, my telly never even gets turned on. The only channel I watch is Setanta as it streams from my pc via broadband yet I am forced by law to pay for channels I simply do not wish to use.

Good on you Noel Edmonds, hopefully this will usher in a new debate and hostility towards the tv license and we can finally tell them what to do with their crappy channels and exactly where they can stick their fucking tv license.

    God Bless Noel Edmonds

    Indeed, fuck the tv license.

How much is the license these days?

Its always been too much money. You pay for a lot of crap that you really dont want to watch anyway.

When I was home I used to watch the occasional documentary, a few comedy shows, Jools Holland and Newnight. Thats it. Certainly not enough to justify the licence fee.

The rest of it is crap that they feed the docile masses. I cannot stand all that Eastenders drivel.

Exactly, honestly watching Eastenders makes me feel a bit sick and depressed I just can't for the life of me understand the appeal of watching people pretend to be down and out market stall traders with pitiful, dreary lives. At least American soaps attempt to add some glamour, comedy and fantasy to their long running soaps so that the viewer can enjoy some fun and outrageous plots, beautiful women and exotic locations. By contrast Eastenders is 30 minutes of watching some fat old bird wipe the tables in Ian's Cafe, fat Pat doing some cleaning or Peggy Butcher spouting off a load of shit behind the bar at the Queen Vic. I actually think Eastender's omnibus editions are so bad they would be deemed as too much of an indiginity to inflict upon terrorist supsects in Guantanamo Bay.

It's no wonder Britain's youth of today is a thick as pigswill as all they get from an early age is absolute crap from our terrestrial television channels. They should be forced to carry a warning like cigarrettes ' WARNING, watching this station can seriously impair your brain function and lead to substantial loss of intelligence and common sense and possible retardation'.

Of course none of the viewers would be able to read the warning anyway so it would make little practical difference.

You know too much about Eastenders!

There is too much crap on British TV in general...all those soaps. They are all so pointless and there is no start, middle, nor end to any of it. Just goes on and on and on. My Mum is thoroughly addicted to them all.

I actually get two BBC channels out here. BBC world news and BBC entertainment. BBC news is okay if you want to check up the news on the hour. The entertainment channel is complete shit and something I avoid.

We too pay a kind of license out here too. But for all the channels at a monthly fee. I only agreed to it because I can get boxing sometimes. No PPV just the monthly fee for all the crappy stations. My boxing is a bonus because there is probably nobody else in this country watching except me.
