Thread: Margarito Vs Williams 2

Should a rematch happen or should paul go up in weight and just let margarito carry the welterwieght division? to me a rematch should happen just to see if he can really beat paul or not cause paul deserves a shot too dont he?

I would like to see the rematch.

Even though i think williams would win it again its a fight that needs to happen at WW to clear up things between the two.

Ofcourse this fight should happend. Their is no way Margo can be called the best Welter if the guy he lost to is in the same division and still has the belt he took away from him.

I have the feeling it wont happen . Williams will be the most avoided fighter of his era.

I'm a big fan of Tony and I want to see him avenge that loss{or at least attempt to}. I don't think Tony is the type to duck anyone; but how much will his promoter have to do with this fight not getting made again?

Win or lose I'm behind Tony, but I need to see this fight and would prefer it over any other fight Tony could possibly be in. And like Game said; PW is very avoided.

Make it happen before I about it.

This is Antonio Margarito's only legit loss IMO not counting the losses when he was a teenager, he needs to revenge it badly but im not sure he can Paul Williams has the workrate and the height to trouble Antonio Margarito all the time............

And i know people say Margarito will start faster this time etc, but it isn't that easy because Williams throws so many punches its hard to get your own workrate going against Williams, and infact despite Margarito being known as a strong finisher Williams clearly won the 12 round.

I hope so, Williams showed a hell of a chin in the first fight, I would love to see a rematch, probably the most important fight that could be made at 147 right now.

I think its best for tony to get a rematch but best for paul to just move up and keep his win over tony. I'd like for paul to beat tony again but IMO tony just started out slow in the first fight and he wont make that same mistake again. If they have a rematch my money will be on margarito, paul should just move up and let tony have the division. If not and they do have a rematch, tony will take it from paul anyways.

Agreed Tony started way to slow, PW was not as good as cotto those first rounds and look waht Tony did to Cotto i think if Tony starts faster (which he will next time) Tony wins and i for one cant not wait
