I agree but the IBO are the only official body that have Ricky Hatton as champion at Jr Welterweight which is a disgrace! I could never understand why the IBF stripped him. I know he moved up to Welter and won the IBF there but he always intended to go back down so why not have both? Now I see that they have made Mallignaggi vacate the same title before he fights Hatton so now Ricky still won't have a major belt. DISGRACE.Originally Posted by CutMeMick

Cool. But, I noticed a couple of errors(listing Jack Sharkey twice and spelling Tommy Morrison's name: Tim Morrison).
I think the IBO will continue to gain respectability and eventually surpass the Big 4 sanctioning bodies. The reason being that they dont strip titles under any circumstances. So you will see more elite fighters who dont want to deal with corrupt mandatories started to defend the IBO.

i remember in the old days u could pic up a boxing book at they would have a page dedicated to each heavyweight champ & the date of when he won & lost title, but what a mess noweveryone knew who was heavy champ back in the day, now i would bloody struggle to say which heavy had which belt.
