Default GUTTED! I always wanted to be at Calzaghes last fight.

I thought that if Calzaghe beats Jones which he should then he would go on to fight Pavlik and take him to school.

Unfortunatly Hopkins has beat him to it.

There is no real point to this thread apart from the fact that there is nobody else for Joe to fight now so his last fight is going to be in MSG.

I was hoping to go to a Calzaghe Pavlik showdown in Vegas.

If he beats Jones I think he'll fight Tarver next summer in Cardiff.

    No!

The nard fight was a v close fight.

A rematch with hopkins at the millenium stadium will be a sell out, both fighters garunteed a massive purse.

Joe can then emphatically prove beyond any doubt that he is and always was the master out of the three (clzaghem jones and hopkins) names and retire the biggest legend out of the three

Why would he fight Dawson, this style matchup is horrible for Calzaghe, Dawson is way faster then him, younger, and still not a big name. Calzaghe could definitely win this, but its just a risk not worth taking.

Also why Taver? He just got owned by Dawson, he lost almost every round of that fight.

If Calzaghe beats Jones, I'd be willing to bet anything he fights again. There's a reason that hardly any fighters have retired undefeated. Fighters don't retire until the desire to fight gets beaten out of them. As long as a fighter is undefeated, the desire to keep winning is too great.
