    Default Latimore-Spinks

Per Fightnews, says this one would be for the title that Verno Phillips is vacating. Very interesting fight both are from St. Louis and Latimore gave a great show last time out versus Sechew Powell and I'm a Spinks fan. Should be interesting.

He left Cunningham like a month before the Phillips fight.

Latimore looked great, Powell looked stoned and apparently he was. I remember Atlas saying how Deandre had an inflated record and it should be an easy fight for Powell. Latimore looked solid not exceptional, but very solid good fundamentals, bad mohawk, but he was definately in control that fight. The stoppage was a definately premature, but Latimore led well and had answers for everything Sechew threw at him.
I think Latimore should be able to cut off the ring and work inside of Spinks jab, but I think that Spink's straight left could make a big impression

Spinks is just so good at jumping in and out, I mean he is among the best at it imo. Just he gets worn down and you can time that move he does to get inside, will have to rewatch the Powell fight but this is interesting. Head says Spinks though.

Have only seen Latimore once.I like him,his attitude, activity level and taking charge of a big opportunity as in the Powell fight.I can not take away from his performance and Powell is a fool for cheating himself and his fans by blunting it up prior to the fight.

Never big on Spinks,He is very frustrating to watch and I'd imagine three times as much to fight. He will have a world of experience over Latimore and be a HUGE step up.Hope he brings his new found aggresive tendencies he displayed against Phillips.I love the upsets but this will be a toughie for Upset minded Latimore.

    Should be a good fight....

If Latimore comes in like he has looked recently he could give Cory trouble and even win...Cory has a problem with either coming in to fight or coming on to parade himself...

If Cory comes in shape and focused I go with The Jinx

Good points, yeah at times the most entertaining thing Cory does is his dance into the ring.

Its kind of interesting, granted I just can't get too excited about a Spinks fight, I like slick boxers but Spinks just doesn't do much for me.

Latimore's chin is a bit iffy but that shouldn't be an issue here. Still probably go with Spinks.

well for me, i think that Spinks will pull off the victory. actually i dont mind watching Spinks fight at all . i kind of enjoy the skills he brings to the game. does that make me just as bad as "Stinks" then?
