Anybody watched his video on fightnews? some good points and a good opinion.

So has nobody watched it then or didn't you Calzaghe fanboys like what you heard.
How about giving us a summary?
Its on Boxing News 24 hours/day -- the #1 resource in boxing -- following Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray, Oscar De La Hoya and all your boxing favorites he is basically saying Jones didn't try to win he dropped Calzaghe then didn't try it was like he had a deal with Calzaghe not to win. Then he said he would like to fight Calzaghe and Calzaghe has pulled out on him twice before which we already knew its still on their now down at bottom if it int its on page 2.
I honestly think that Johnson is the guy right now that can blemish Calzaghe.. He withstood the sizzling handspeed and power of Dawson and applied pressure agression and IMO eeked out a win, but got the complimentery Johnson screwing that we come to expect in a close fight..
I will be my house and my car that Calzaghe dosent so much as put a dent in Johnson dosent have the firepower to keep Glen off him.. I know Johnsons record isint spectacular but I think its all about the styles in this one
I love Johnson but he doesn't have a shot at GETTING a fight with Joe never mind winning it which he is not capable of doing...
Sorry.
Glenn Johnson losses a UD.

A lot of boxing promoters couldn't match the cheeks of their buttocks. Mickey Duff..
I hear you man Johnson is no world beater, but he is tough as nails and is a late bloomer of sorts, the guy seems to have endless stamina and a serious strong will... Joe may very well cruise in this one too but Joe dosent possess the power to deter Johnson.. Glen is definetly scrappy and relentless with his pressure and pretty underrated.. Again Joe may well pitch a shutout against him.. Until Joe officially retires and is the undefeated top dawg, its to be expected fans, writers and experts search potential matchups and styles.. When your #1 people are gunning for you, fact of life man![]()
Glen Johnson matches up almost exactly with Clinton Woods over three fights. I don't think you'd find anybody who'd claim that Woods would beat Calzaghe or even come close to it. I think that people for whatever reasons will just not accept how far ahead in class of everybody else Joe actually is.
Styles make fights dude.. .Woods has faded in his career and Johnson is still going strong, albeit he lost on the cards it was quite clear he beat and out toughed the heir apparent to the division.. Johnson has a relentless style and if Joe couldnt buckle a dented Jawed Jones, how is he going to keep Johnson off of him.. I mean Joe is not the same fighter that Beat Lacy down, but at this stage of their careers Glen style presents big chllenges to everyone in the division even Calzaghe...
You speak of acceptance of Calzaghe, see my above post for the reality of every number 1 fighter, team etc.. Finding a spoiler for them is the way of the world mate, always has been, always will be![]()
I think Johnson would get outboxed. It is one thing being strong and relentless, but no good if u cant land. Johnson is on his way out. Though it hurts to say so, no one at 168-175 at the moment has the tools to beat Joe. Jones, Johnson, Tarver and Hopkins are too old, and the likes of Dawson, Pavlik, and other young guys dont seem to have the talent or desire. 160 and up in boxing is actually quite weak at the moment. Whereas 160 and below may be as strong as ever.
