Default Pac-De La Hoya, What if?

What do you think Manny will do if he pulls off this victory? Will he go back to lightweight? Maybe light welter to get another division notch on his belts? Or will he stay at welterweight and look for the big money guys there? Pac-Hatton could look real good if they both win.

He'll take the biggest money fights he can get. Hatton, Mayweather even as I'm sure Floyd is coming back. I think if he wins a bet on a Manny-Mayweather fight being made is worth a few quid.

If Pac wins, the Mayweather fight does start to look really interestring, but Im one of those that thinks ODLH is just too big a step for Pac as much as I like him as a fighter...

But if he comes through Id love to see a Mayweather fight,

if Pacman wins i see a Mayweather fight or a Hatton fight if he wins on Saturday.

even if he loses he still has other options like Campbell, Jmm, or even some fighters at 140 but none of them are big names except for Ricky.

but i rather see him fight PBF.

if it turnes out to be a good fight i think he would go for a re match, if not and if he does well in the fight id like him to move up in weight and fight maby mosley or judah or possible a big showdown with mayweather

I agree with pretty much what everyone else has said, Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao makes the most sense. Two of the best P4P fighters fighting eachother, hasn't happened since Pernell Whitaker vs Julio Cesar Chavez, it would be a huge event.

And no wonder Floyd Mayweather has started training again, its obvious he has Ricky Hatton or Manny Pacquiao on his mind. And if Manny Pacquiao beats ODLH, and then if Floyd Mayweather beats Manny Pacquiao. I would hate to see people not giving credit to Floyd Mayweather, and using the weight excuse or size excuse, because there not that much difference size wise.

But i can also see Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton in the UK, if Ricky Hatton beats Paul Malignaggi. Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao would be huge over here.

I totally agree... If PAC beats Hoya, his next fights will be super mega huge events... PAC vs. Hatton ... PAC vs. PBF ... etc.

If Ricky beats Paulie he will face the Manny-Oscar victor. It's a done deal apparently. Pure speculation of course

Here are the three possible outcomes

#1 De la Hoya wins.....he then fights Margarito

#2 Pac wins....he then fights PBF

#3 Draw....Pac fights PBF and De la Hoya fights Margarito and the winner of those fights fight each other and everyone supposedly wins.

I don't really give a shit about this fight, it's a farce it proves nothing. If Oscar wins he was "just too big" and if Pac wins "Oscar was past his prime". It does nothing for me

hatton definitely, provided he gets pass malignaggi. and if pac still wins, the biggest fights in decades will lure pbf out of retirement. this is what if, so pac has to win first against de la hoya.

i think pacquiao is going to go with Hatton. Then he will have to eventually fight Marquez again.

I read somewhere Roach saying pac won't be able to go down to 135lb. But I heard someones else, though less reliable than Roach, who said pac could still fight at 135. I noticed on his latest workout pics, he has considerable 'bulked up' I mean not with the usual fatty mass but with real muscles so I doubt he can comfortably go back to 135. He'll probably be fighting at around 140. So if Hatton does a decent job on his coming fights, he'll probably be one of the first targets on pac's radar screen.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

If Manny wins, then a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is the biggest money fight out there.

If it doesn't work out, then a fight against Hatton would be an interesting alternative. He wouldn't make as much money against Hatton, but it'd be a much easier fight than fighting Floyd would be.

If Manny can actually beat ODLH, the Mayweather would DEFINITELY happen. HBO would shell out all of the 2009 budget just for that fight alone. The current P4P #1 vs. the true P4P #1. The card would be named "Pound For Pound." Quite honestly, winning this fight could propel Manny into two 20 Million dollar fights against Hatton and Mayweather in 2009. It's just that Manny beating ODLH seems so tough that I'm not even gonna think about those fights; which actually are much better than the ODLH fight.

I guessing a $75 buy on PPV $85 for HD PPV, maybe more.
