    Default Unvacantingication

Well here's the fights to be made to declare champs in all the weight classes, that the Ring has vacant. What do you think?

    Heavyweight ( 200+ )

Wlad vs. Vitali, no chance in hell this ever happens, but if it did I think Vitali would destroy Wlad, Vitali really is the total package at HW.
Vitali 8th round TKO (I think Vitali would be pulling punches against Wlad)

    Cruiserweight ( 200 )

Cunningham vs. Adamek, well this one is happening December 11th, both guys actually have a good shot although Adamek's workrate makes him the favorite.
    Adamek UD

    Super Middleweight ( 168 )

Kessler vs. Bute, I definately gotta back Kess here, skill wise he does everything Bute does but better. Bute may have the edge in power, but in my opinion it won't be enough.
    Kessler UD

    Light Middleweight ( 154 )

Forrest vs. Phillips, well, Paul Williams may make this a moot match-up as he is scheduled to fight Phillips next. I would take Forrest to take Phillips to school.
    Forrest 10th round TKO

    Welterweight ( 147 )

Margarito vs. Williams, can't see this fight happening in the near future, as Williams looks up in weight to conquer. If the rematch did happen I can easily see the same result of the first fight.
    Williams SD

    Junior Lightweight ( 126 )

Valero vs. Soto, a mouthwatering match up, have to say at this point I'd back Soto to just wear down Valero to a late stoppage, of course Valero has the power to turn around a fight at any moment.
    Soto 7th round TKO

    Featherweight ( 122 )

John vs. Luevano, Luevano may be one of the better counterpunchers at 122, but his inactivity would cost him this fight without a doubt. John is what he is a very good fight, that always looks to have a fall from grace just over the horizon, I don't think that Luevano is the man to do it though.
    John UD

    Bantamweight ( 118 )

Hasegawa vs. Moreno, another potential great matchup, Hasegawa has shown a slight slow down in recent fights and Moreno has shown improvement. As much as I want to back Hasegawa, I don't think he could pull it off against the ambitious Moreno.
    Moreno UD

    Jr. Bantamweight ( 115 )

Darchinyan vs. Montiel, Montiel should be able to do what most of us expected Mijares to do, pull the crab out of the shell and fillet him, although Darchinyan could always end up doing what he did with Mijares. Even after I'm proven wrong, I still take a boxer over a puncher any day.
    Montiel UD

    Flyweight ( 112 )

Donaire vs. Naito, This fight should have happened a long time ago after Naito upset Wonjongkam and Donaire upset Darchinyan. Naito has looked less than stellar compared to his performance getting a draw in the rematch with Wonjongkam putting his record against Pongsaklek at 1-2-1. Donaire on the other hand continues to impress, and should have a relatively easy go at it, the only thing about Donaire is the question of how long we he be able to make weight, his frame is big for the 112 weight class.
    Donaire 5th round KO

    Strawweight ( 105 )

Gonzalez vs. Garcia, Gonzalez looked very impressive against Niida, Garcia looks like he is along for the ride. Gonzalez should win this one pretty handily.
    Gonzalez 6th round KO

    opinions?

    I agree with all except....

I am not so sure about Forrest/Phillips...Forrest has that.."I am mgreat one fight and like shit the next" Syndrome....Phillips is an old vet who knows the tricks when need be...His only real weakness these days is output...he is slowing down severly......I would more then favir Forrest but not by KO/TKO...Verno has a solid chin and has only been stopped once in his career...That was early on sometime between his 5th and 10th bout...

I pick Forrest but I would be rooting for Verno...

I also think Margarito wins a rematch against Williams

    Other then that great analogies

I'm definately assuming that a good Forrest shows up and doesn't come down with his Judahism.

Margarito/Williams rematch becomes increasingly interesting seeing how both men have fought post their first meeting. Imagine that same match up where both men have increased confidence and both have shown improvement in their respective styles. Williams looks like his punches have become harder, and Margarito just has his energizer bunny routine down to a science. Certainly a good case could be made for either, could be something to look forward to in 2009.

Without a doubt it is a fight I am hoping takes place...Though it is starting to seem less and less likely all the time with Tony not sure on what to do right now and Williams debating his full time 154 status

IF Williams beats Phillips he would be directly in place to fight Forrest for the RING title at 154. I think a rematch with Margarito should generate enough dollars (hopefully) to make it worthwhile for Williams. It's interesting though if Williams does the following.
    Beats Phillips at 154
    Beats Margarito at 147
    Beats Forrest at 154
he could be a two weight champion, although it is unlikely it is not impossible, and Margarito is the toughest fight for him out of those three by far.

At junior middleweight, why no mention of Sergei Dzinzidurik (WBO)? I give him a solid shot at beating Forrest or Phillips although throw Williams into the mix and I'm not so sure.

I am following the strict rules of ring rated #1 and #2 in each weight class that there is a vacant title.

I think Williams could clean house all the way up to Mikkel Kessler or Jermain Taylor.

Man, what I wouldn't give for a January Williams v tWink fight at 160, with the winner taking on Pavlik in the late summer, early fall.

The funny thing is that none of these fights seem that hard to make.

Nice post sheep! The thought of a Valero vs Soto match is mouth watering (No Homo). I think Soto would win that one...

I am not quite ready to jump on that wagon, Williams looked great at 160, but that was not exactly high level competition. Let's see how he does against Phillips before passing too much judgement.
