Default Kermit Cintron v. Joshua Clottey

With Cintron's win over Ndou, a fight with Clottey is very possible. Who do you think wins that one?

Clottey takes The Frogs best shots , walks him down , and tears him a new ASSHOLE.

Cintron panics when he realizes his power is ineffective against Clottey and gets stopped soon after.

Bad opponent for Cintron. I see a late round stoppage for Clottey who takes a better punch.

Clottey but Cintron goes the distance, partially cause Clottey will go into cruise control and fight with the passion of, well, Clottey.

I dunno. I'm hoping Clottey gets the impression that he needs to do more than just win. That he has to impress and keeps the pedal on Cintron the whole way through. I mean, you don't get a more knock-outtable pseudo-elite opponent than Cintron. Margarito did it twice and got a boost both times.

i see a late stoppage for Clottey but if it goes to the cards maybe Cintron but i still say Clottey beats him.

Clottey all day. Cintron won't be able to penetrate his defense with any regularity.

Agree on that.Clottey seems to be going through the motions in spots. Was a little more methodical vs. Zab,surely was on his way to stopping him Imo.

Yeah, probably so, the one that stood out to me the most was the time he fought that guy on Versus, Alvarez, who had nothing, looked like half Clottey's size, had no snap on his punches, Clottey could have probably ended it any time he wanted but he just did enough to go by.

He does that a lot, just enough to get by. I'd rather watch paint dry personally.

Thats the one that stands out.I think some of it was him basically just waiting for Arum to get him a title fight. But he had Alvarez effected and showed very little eagerness to close the show.Even in warm up for Zab,was doing well vs. Cruz but no explosivness.Ending was odd,They basically just waived it off....almost from boredom lol.He was like a kid in a candy store after that one..."Arum promised me a title.ohhh thank you Mr. Arum" etc.

Interested to see if he turns it up now that he has reached that goal ??I think he can be even better.
