    I'll be honest here....
I'm very p*ssed off that this is looking like it's gonna be in Las Vegas with around 16,000 in attendance
Team Hatton should insist this is in the UK!!

I was hoping this would be in wembley STADIUM not ARENA.

Ricky's camp did insist but they dont call the shot, Top Rank Boss Bob Arum does.

When Ricky is pound 4 pound number 1, he can call the shots on where he wants to fight.

Ricky is the one that want's to fight Pac reeeeal bad not vice versa so they'll have Hatton eating out the palm of their hand.

I agree Althugz, as long as Pacquiao is p4p king he should be able to call the shots. Heck there should be a chance to fight in the phillipines before the UK!

It is not about p4p it is all about the money. Vegas will pay the most and Hatton will go there. I am sure Hatton would love it at Wembley with a British ref like against Tszyu but the dollar will persuade him.

Even though i'm in Australia I would have still loved to see this in England... Even though team Pac would probably prefer it in the US so Hatton does not have so much home court advantage,,,,, I still think Pac would be quite happy to fight in England... A lot of fighters when they wind down their career say they wished they could fight over there, granted they are usually half calling out a British fighter at the time, but why the hell not??

They missed their superfight with Hatton Floyd even though Floyd said at stages he wanted to fight in England...

Isn't it something to do with PPV? That the fight has to be in the US.. I doubt it.. If they wanted it to be PPV then it could be even if it was in Iraq..

It's going to be strange also after Hatton had so much comedy material to work with in Mayweather Jr,,, what jokes can he make about Pac? I think if there is a 24/7 it will be the coach show..

I dont have any doubt that Pacquiao will crush Hatton. Speed kills, and Hatton just isnt quick enough to dodge that left hand! Call me crazy but I see a brutal beat down awaiting Hatton come May! If it does come down to a good brawl (I dont think it will) then Pacquiao's footwork and lightning combinations will rule the night.

Just as I predicted. I would love to see the fight done in UK but Pac will be put in a disadvantage if it were so.

    How ?

The UK has better scoring than the bullshitt US judges at the MGM and Mandalay Bay.

    Uk ref, home crowd etc....

At least in the US there's a huge Filipino fan base who will actually attend the fight. I've yet to meet anyone from the Phillipines in the UK. There may be a few in London but not up North. If the fight was in the UK 99% of that 100k crowd would be screaming for Hatton.

I would back Hatton to beat Pac if it was in England (think it's 50/50-ish anywhere).

70,000+ bods booing you MUST be unnerving. There's a chance Pac could seriously SHIT himself.

Yep, there's no way Pac would (or should) come over. Hatton camp will be more than happy with the dough anyway.

Agreeably, boos are unnerving, moreso that huge mass, ...70K fans predominantly rooting against you. For some reason tho', some people are just better than others in blocking these external influences in handicapping their abilities. More than anything, it is probably is a statement for mental toughness.

Is Manny Pacquiao immune to these outside factors? The response to this is best given with an example.

When Pacquiao fought Marco Antonio Barrera, it was at the Almodome in Texas, a second home to Barrera as the pre-fight hype stated. Likewise, the site was the waterloo for ALL of Pac's countrymen in a major or a title bout --a well known fact to Pac, hence, an additional psychological baggage.

Did that prevent him from doing his job?

    "Did Pac seriously SHIT himself?"

The answer to that is history, as they say. We all know it.

Time and again the guy just performs. And time and again he just allow for more people in that bandwagon.
