If you phone up and agree to a 12 month contract you only pay £9.99 a month for 12 months

+ if you have another account on another digital box like me you can get that down to £2.99!

Fuck had 2 accounts for fooking ages and been paying 12.99 a month EACH lol + the sky lol so well happy with this. Should save a good few bux now to put away and stuff down the thong of some stripper in Vegas come may

    Tidy darts.

To be fair that sounds more like your conning them

I think compared to Sky Setanta represent great value for money.

If you're a boxing fan and live in an area where you football team is so shit they can't even get in the league then Setanta is great. I can watch boxing, UFC and live Torquay Utd games all pretty regularly.

That said though I just cancelled my subscription. Not becuase I don't think its worth it, it is but just because I never actually watch it.

I mean live fights I can get on streams anyway, I never actually watch Torquay play, and things like Bunces Boxing Hour are uploaded within minutes of airing so I just download everything I want to watch and never actually use Setanta at all.

But I still say it is good value for money though when you compare with Sky.

I don't know I cancelled a couple weeks ago, one email and it was done.

I agree some companies charge crazy prices for shit, Sky for example but Setanta offer pretty good value for money imo.

I had the broadband package, just £7.99 a month. In the email they said I could rejoin any time and cancel anytime too, so if I want to join for a month just to get the Margarito Mosely fight for example and then cancel again I can do that no problem.

All these companies exist to make money but Setanta are better the rest in terms of value for money, providing you enjoy enough of the sports they offer........

Why do you need two Setanta's?

Is this your way of boasting you have two tv's?

I've fucked my sky plus off just so i can get Setanta thru freeview and a rooftop arial.
Haven't been able to get a signal for weeks as Setanta don't use Sky's Astral Sattelite and kept ringing them and the customer service was a joke.
Fisrt lady told me i don't even have Setanta so i told her i have bank statements proving they take cash out by DD every month.
Then another person told me i had a years free subscription.
Then i was told they'd send a two part "stronger signal" to me which is when i lost it and started using the CUNT word loads and asked why they would send a fucking weak signal in the first place?
Trust me if you use a Sky dish and the picture starts to freeze and you get a "No sattelitte signal is being recieved" blue screen they are about as useful as an inflatable dartboard and just pass the buck around and seem totally clueless.
One man their said we can refund you to which another the following day said you can't get a refund unless you email or write to us explaining everything.
I'm getting a rooftop arial in a few days (£150) and hoping they can just flip my account from Sky Dish to Freeview Arial.
Gotta fork out £150 but can't have it freezing all the time when the footy or fights are on and this was on Watchdog on tv a month ago...think they've had over 17,000 complaints and the problem is the more people who sign up to Setanta puts a huge strain on the rusty old shit bucket of a sattelite they beam through.
Wouldn't suprise me if they use some old Russian space programme one from the 1950's.
And take my advice....NEVER try to re-align your Sky dish (like they told me too) alone.
Get a sky engineer in with the proper equipment.
5 F*cking hours i was up and down a ladder for the other day freezing my bollocks of and getting nowhere

Exactly the same as me mate...i can get all i want on Freeview and just pay Steanta their monthly fee!
Sky is only good for footy if your a fan and i got a nice country pub (open fire etc) 50 meters away if i wanna watch a game.
Still get film 4 and ITV4 show some decent UK fights too.
I was paying around £70 a month for Sky and their broadband service so i'm saving around £800 a year and missing nothing at all
Pays for a nice holiday abroad when you think about it like that.
I'm off to India soon to reap the benefits where i'll be mainly lying in a Hammock all day, eating top notch curries and f*ckin my gorgeous missus thrice daily in my luxury beach hut in a paradise setting.

Setanta have totally destroyed Sky in terms of boxing imo.
And not a PPV in sight.
