Thread: profile picture

im embarrassed for having to ask you guys this but could someone tell me how to put a picture onto my porfile? everytime i try to upload a pic it says "image file not valid". your help would be greatly appreciated.

where are trying to load it from?

It should be as simple as browsing it from your PC and hit upload. If it is somewhere else, as on a website, then save the pic on your PC.

Maybe it is too large, because it is in bitmap format? If so...resave the picture and change the format when doing so. Save as Jpeg.

yeah i saved it to my pc and then loaded it up from the browser, the picture is 200 by 200 which am sure is just right according to my user cp. anyway ill try what you suggested mate and get back to you, thanks youngblood.

when you resave it, right below where it says file name it also says 'file type'.

you need to hit the dropdown box and select the type...and this is where and when you can make it a jpeg.

It's real easy. Alls you have to do is pull your pants down and punch yourself in the balls. Your pic will be right there.
