    Default Cotto's questionable loss...

So I start seeing the trends here, Tony is in a world of trouble these days and regardless of the outcome of his alleged loading of the gloves his reputation forever scarred. However you can really see who the true Margo fans are and who just jumped on the band wagon after he defeated Cotto.

Most, not all or only, but most of the Cotto fans are the ones that are quick to jump all over Tony in this controversy not based on any hard evidence or decisions of the Commission, but simply based on their bias towards Tony for beating Cotto, now given that I would say that Tony fans are not dismissing the possibility that he may have done but are at least saying lets wait this out and see what is discovered.

Now I have also seen that Tito Trinidad has been brought into subjects also becasue he was accused also (by Richardson) for doing the same thing, but when thats brought up P.R. fans are quick to dismiss that allegation and saying its totally off or completely different blah blah blah.

Now I ask you, how can you not see the two faced irony in that?

I don't give a phuk about Tito. This ain't about Tito. I liked Tony, before the Cotto fight and I was always the one to quickly say that PBF ducked Tony but when I found out that Tony was using a hardening substance in his wraps, I lost any love or respect I could give him. I debunked the ROID accusation's that were being made against Tony and I never said anything about that when the rumors came to be. If Tony is found innocent, which I doubt but if he is, then I will admit I was wrong. What else can I do. And Capetillo taking the fall will not mean Tony is innocent, don't get that twisted.

I agree this isnt about Tito, but when making comparisons, and I am not saying you, alot of P.R. fans are completely dismissing it but saying how terrible it is that Tony did it. Well if it was that terrible that Tony did it wouldnt it have been just as terrible that Tito did it?

Im on the fence on the whole fall guy thing with Capetillo, I mean its really hard to say yes Tony was in on it or that Capetillo was acting on his own w/o Tony's knowledge both could be the case.

Lastly, I'm not saying you jumped on the band wagon after the Cotto fight but I remember you practically were calling Tony a club fighter before the Cotto fight, then were all for Tony after that fight, then even before any info came out during the Mosley fight you were all over him...just seems like you were waiting for something to discredit him.

I hate to say it but he is going down but if as you say, if he is found innocent, I wish him luck. The fact that Naazim Richardson wanted to punch Capetillo in the jaw and on the spot at the time, well... You just don't go around wanting to punch people who have done nothing wrong and from the sound of things, Naazim was pissed!

yeah I got to admit it doesn't look good, but I'll still keep a little fate till the verdict comes out... I still don't get why its taking this long though, surly it doesn't take that long to find out what it was...

I hate steriods, I really dislike that Roy and Mosley both used them during their careers. I am not here trying to disprove against all odds that Roy used them. I can still like a fighter who has cheated in their career. I am not saying people should hate Margarito for using illegal wraps, its each perosn has to decide that for themselves, but to wear something for the sole purpose of hurting somebody worse is pretty low. Roy steroids or not always cared about the well being of his opponents. He never wanted to intentionally hurt somebody badly in the ring. Same with Mosley, I think steriods are wrong to take and give you an unfair advantage, but its different than arming yourself in a way that could hurt somebody. I've never been a huge fan of tito, largely because of the Bernard Hopkins incident, and the fact Oscar got robbed against him, but also I've never been a fan because its sick to cheat like that IMO.
