BJ Penn's haters would all jump around here accusing him of making another excuse. For the record.. It's his trainer complaining. When I was watching I already noticed that locking his right leg into GSP's foreneck was very difficult (and failed to do so) because he was already slippery and sweaty..never taught it was because of vaseline. Did it affected the fight? Maybe not. GSP was a great wrestler. He's the only guy who can put BJ on his back and pass his guard almost at will. But you can't deny the fact that BJ is as dangerous on the ground because he is a master of BJJ. If you watch the fight again you will notice he attempted to lock him down for a triangle. He didn't even come close. GSP's defense? NOT!
And the attempt of cheating..whether it clearly affected the outcome or not is inexcusable. Shades of Margarito/Mosley. Sad thing is it happened during the fight. Mr. Dana White..we need a rematch.. at a catchweight..say 163! for the sake of fairness and vindication of both fighters. Please!
FUKK THAT GUY PHIL NURSE FOR PUTTING DOUBTS IN THIS FIGHT

An empty can is always noisy.
Very unfortunate and there should be a fine or something for the corner team all that being said GSP is just TOO much for BJ as 170 and I don't think it affected the outcome

nowhere on the planet is there news of this. Not espn.com, tsn.com, tsn.ca, and not even on ufc.com is there a related story. It's a non issue.
Leave it to some blogger bullshit to stir the pot. Not even sure how blogs ever reach the front page. they lack any credibility and are piss poorly written.
I saw it on Sherdog, MMAweekly and Yahoo sports

Blah....I hate this kind of shit. It's only gonna bring a negative note to the sport, should it actually hit a larger news source. That's the last thing the sport needs. If anything was amiss, blame the ref for not taking note of such things. It's his job to ensure both fighters are fighting on equal footing, and any blame should be his. I don't believe that a fighter of GSP's caliber needed any help nor that he would even welcome such an advantage. I wouldn't mind seeing the two square off again, but I'm tired of hearing about greased up fighters every time a huge name loses.
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?
