    Clubber Lang. He trained alone.

He sparred 1000 rounds... only problem was he did them alone... if he'd had some sparring partners/some one to spot him when he weight lifted/ keep time on his bag work etc he might have won both fights?

It was clearly Drago imo. Lang was not used to anyone standing up to him and prior to the second fight Rocky was a one dimensional fighter. Appollo taught him speed and movement with which he destroyed Lang in the rematch.

He clearly showed these new skills in the fight with Drago which to me represents Balboa's finest ring performance.

I think Drago was an overrated opponent. He murdered a Creed who was pushing 40 and had absolutely no pro experience. Rocky was way past his best too and managed to sum up the will to beat the dope fiend. Without the illegal boost ups, Drago would most likely have not gained the notoriety he did.

I personally like the win over Lang. Rocky had to overcome his devastating KO loss and completely re-evaluate his fighting style in order to come back successfully. It was like Hatton coming back as Sugar Ray Leonard, a remarkable transformation. Rocky would never be as finely honed as he was in that fight.

I say Drago. 'Roided up or not, he punched with murderous intent and caused Rocky permanent nerve damage.

I thought Rocky lost to Lang because he slacked off in training camp. He'd lost the eye of the tiger.

That too... but if he'd just regained the eye of the tiger and nothing else he'd have had an epic war he may not have won... he only really started to beat creed once he used the new defensive techniques that appol cre- ok I'm going to shut up now!

it's obviously Drago any way... everything he hits he destroys.

I thought Rocky was very lucky with the judges, there's no way that those were split decisions in the Creed & Dixon matches

Before I start, I LOVE ROCKY THREADS!

    Here's my reasoning:

Mason Dixon wasn't all that dangerous. He came into the fight out of shape and took Rocky for granted.

Apollo Creed boxes circles around Rocky but I don't think he had the punching power to really be called "dangerous"

Ivan Drago and Clubber Lang were the two most dangerous IMO.

Drago was drugged up and a physical specimen. He had power and the ability to box but he was more of a robot trying to fulfill what was asked of him.

Clubber Lang was an ALL OUT slugger who didn't want to win the fight but wanted to actually hurt Rocky. He also had freakish power and he came forward looking to take your head off.

I think physically and punching power Lang and Drago were somewhat close. I think what seperates them was their mentality coming into the fight. In this case, my vote goes to Lang...
