    Default Norton vs. Dolan *Spoiler*

Great matchmaking in tonights Sky fight. Constant shifts in momentum, big rounds for each guy. Dolan stole a round by landing a clipping right to a knockdown at the bell in the 8th. This match was what boxing should be IMO evenly matched bout could go either way. 5 knockdowns total in the fight. Norton hit the canvas 3 times twice in the fourth and once in the eighth. Dolan fell to the ground twice, once from a devastating shot to the armpit, once from a counter that was very push like. I was entertained, anyone else watch?

    Was you watching a stream?

I backed Dolan. The scoring was horrible. Although I knew the hometown fighter would get it if close.

The second knockdown Dolan scored was a headbut. I'm pretty sure of it. Don't think Norton even knew he'd been nutted.

The scoring was bad, I scored it 112-111 Norton, someone else watching with me had it 112-111 Dolan. There were 4 rounds that could have gone either way, but 116-109 was horrible.

Yeah Rob won a unanimous decision

5 knockdown thriller. The 2nd knockdown Rob suffered was from a headbutt. The commentary didnt see it and even Rob said he cant remember it but thats cuz he was out cold when he went down and recovered in the minute off

Fantastic tear up. Glad I never got rid of sky sports now

I really wanted to watch this fight last night.Dolan is a local boxer of my and i was really looking forward on watching him as he is a lot better fighter when he fights at his natural weight of Cruiserweight instead of his heavyweight conquest that he fought in on the first heavyweight PRIZEFIGHTER tournament of April 2008.Dolan is a natural Cruiserweight for sure.Yeah i really wanted to watch my local man fight last night but was totally gutted to find out that it was boardcasted on sky sports2 instead of it usual sky sports 1.I tryed to get a stream of the bout but there was'nt one so i logged in at the Dolan vs Norton thread and got some great live feedback comments from my great friend SUPERHEAVYHUN Cheer mate!.Yeah i heard from him that it was very close and entertaining to watch,Damn,i was itching to watch it too.I knew it would be a hard night for Dolan. There was two titles up for grabs for David last night if he won. There was norton's British title and the vacant commonwealth title too,so if he won if would have been great for our local town as well as Dolan himself. He would of had title fights at our great local Borough Hall venue(which is only a 5 minute drive away from where i live, great boxing venue too)but it was'nt to be.Nevermind Dolan,it sounds like you gave it your best and it was very close. You'll bounch back. He's still only young!!!

I watched on SkySports also. Was a real fun fight. I totally didnt expect Norton to come back from the double knockdown round, Dolan looked like he could catch him at will at that point and it was only early on (even if they were questionable/flash knockdowns). Nortons defensive skills are pretty bad but to be fair he dug in and got the jab going giving him the lions share of the rounds.

I scored it 114-113 to Norton, which is basically the same as the 2 commentators who both scored it 113-112 Norton. I dont think there can be any complaints as to the outcome, it seems almost everyone thought Norton edged it. The judges points totals made it out to be way more clear cut than it was thats for sure, but the right man won, so it doesnt really matter. Id be up for a rematch though.

Norton said he will give him a rematch but not in his next fight. It will have to be sometime down the road

Nobody seems to be bothered it was a headbutt that caused the 2nd knockdown . that was the only time in the fight Norton was hurt

Other than the knockdowns, Dolan didnt do much, Everything He did was in straight lines. He never made Norton go where He didnt want too.
