Default Margarito and Capetillo's story: Smells like bullshit to me

    Margarito, Capetillo have licenses revoked

Capetillo claimed that he reached into his equipment bag and grabbed the wrong wrapping - one that had already been used and that belonged to another fighter - while he was wrapping Margarito's hands before the Mosley bout.

What kind of a trainer would make such a mistake?

You would have to be a cabbage to fuck up so badly and a total vegetable to try and pull THAT one off.

Cut down on the big font mate I'm on a phone and I have to scroll half a mile to read that

It has some blood stains on it so it's a used wrapping which is illegal in the first place... I've read somewhere that it's the one they used in practice (does they mean in sparring??)... Poor sparring partners...

i think that for how long they've been investigating they haven't really done shit, they're banning Margarito more because of the outcry by writers and some fans than any other reason, i mean they need to be more effective with their investigations and all that shit because it's a man's lively-hood on the line, i'm not saying Margarito wasn't aware, but i'm not saying that he was aware either and honestly i think that it's the same shit as the whole Mosley Balco thing, if Mosley was unaware of using steroids and never truely suspended, i think Margarito deserves a fair and extensive investigation as Arum said

As a fighter you have to be aware. It wouldn't have been Margarito's trainer in there punching with illegal wraps it would have been Margarito.

So is he saying that he did not intend this to be for Tony but for another fighter he is training? lol No matter how you slice this, it comes out bullshiet.

The lab tests have yet to be released, but i can tell by the trainers testimony that he is guilty as hell. He's trying to deflect blame off of margarito. They're all involved and the officials that inspected his wraps before other fights are in on it too. There is no way an official can miss seeing loaded wraps fight after fight.

Hey IMO with this comments that Capetillo made , that means that this is a use and custom in carried and utilize this kind of illegal Pad to other fighters and for Margarito specially.....................

I'd like to call BS. When a fighter's done, don't they cut his hand wraps off? There's no way you could possibly mistake that for something new.
    Oops

Also we can never really prove what he used and what he did not.

Margarito is finished! He should be!

I'm disheartened in boxing that he is being shielded from harm, by this white glove treatment of a punishment, handed to him by the "sensitive", CA Boxing Commission.

Jail time, is not harsh! It is the only thing that will give semblance of justice to Cintron, Cotto, & co. To the harm done to carreers of Cintron, Cotto, & co, and their losses from lost "potential" professional earnings.

How do you right, the wrong done to them and to the sport of boxing?

And how do you deter this "aggravated assault" in boxing shorts and loaded gloves from happening again?

Definitely not with a one year suspension, with the possibility of appeal with good behavior!

Now if anyone says that this is the first time that Margarito has ever done anything like this, then they must be from the CBC!

    Something smells rotten.

I agree mate. For me I think he and his trainer should be forced to take mandatory lie detector tests. If they fail they should BOTH be imprisoned.

This is 10x worse than using drugs to cheat imo becuase you are actually trying to cause harm to your opponent. What if one of his opponents had died?

I'll still hold back judgement until the official verdict but IF he's found guilty he has no place in the sport ever again and if I was Cintron or Cotto I'd even be appealing to make those fights no contests.
