- In 2005, Hatton inflicted the worst beating ever on a p4p all time legend kostya Tszyu boxing him into submission after 11 brutal rounds

- In 2006 Hatton went over to america and in his first outing stateside became a 2 weight world champion out pointing Luis Collazo knocking him down in the 1st 30 seconds of the fight

- In 2007 Hatton destroyed a legend when he demolished Jose Luis Castillo inside 4 rounds with what is described as the most brutal body punch seen in boxing today

- In 2008 Hatton saw off the number 1 contender at 140pounds and the very man who had given the great miguel cotto one hell of a scare by destroying his man inside 11rounds to become the universally recognised 140pound king

- On May 2nd 2009, do you think hatton will inflict the worst ever beating on little manny pacquiao and force all his slightly gay fanbase into withdrawal and possible suicide for those americans who just love to knock a good british fighter down?

If he has the Kostya resiliance and a few extra tricks, then it's a distinct possibility.

For me, it's a pick-em fight. If Hatton can fight the right fight he wins. If Manny can fight his fight he also wins.

Hattons gonna lose I want him to win but hes not Pac is just to quick on his feet and strong for Hatton, sorry.

pacquiao got beat by part timers from his own country and erik morales...hatton lost to the p4p king of the last 10 years!!

Same here!! I feel both men is gonna get a sweet ass whooping from each other. brutal body shots from Ricky, vicious head shots from Pac. Fans can all argue and debate with facts and tapes of previous fights but IMO it will all come down to the question: who's gonna take the inflicted punishment better? This to me makes Pac a slight favorite. why? headshots. multiple headshots. Pac will throw many of them and I doubt if Ricky can prevent the damage done during flurries. On the other hand, its no secret that Ricky is a tremendous body puncher and we could all expect Freddie Roach to have a great game plan to negate this advantage. and plus the reality that it takes a lot of effort and timing to throw an effective body punch. so, I give Pac the slight edge on exchanges and the accumulation of punches due to his speed advantage.

I like your format of the post I think Pac Man hasnt recieved much of a beating throughout his career so it shouldn't be too hard for Ricky to top it. Ricky punches harder than anyone Mannys ever fought below 140 and will not be scared of pac man in the slightest.

Pac fans are in for a wake up call due May, they are all thinking it's gunna be a walk in the park for Manny but it's going to be anything but that.. I hope.

Unless he can get Pac's respect early on, Hatton will get brutalized.

You saw what Collazo and Mayweather did to him when they opened up on him. The only did it in spurts, Pac's going to go crazy on him.

So unless Hatton can make Pac think twice, he's in for a beating imo.

it wont be a cakewalk for pac thats for sure, hattons body punches can hurt pac. but hatton cant throw the body punches unless he is clinching pac or atleast very close to him.

pac wont let that happen, pac will dart in and out and will not let hatton come close. hatton beaing hatton will go pushing on but a bunch of punches will greet hatton on the way in. thats why he got koed by mayweather.

pac is fast weve seen this many times already, pac putting out combos then when the opponent has the chance to throw a counter. pac is not infront of him anymore.



btw the last time ive seen pac being punched in the body pac just went berserk and kod the opponent.

He lost his compurser in the Mayweather fight that that resulted in him been ko'ed i think Hatton would of lost by UD if he hadnt of got piss**d off and lost his head look at the first 3rounds he did ok.

If Hatton lands a body shot on Manny he will feel it and who's to say he wont go down he has never been in with anyone as strong as Hatton or as bigger puncher.If Hatton can get to the body it will slow Manny down if he can take them.

Hatton will beat Pac, he will use his new found boxing skills that he forgot he had, and slowly break Manny Pac down and stop him late in the fight. Hard fight but easy victory for Hatton.

When was the last time Hatton fought a lightning fast southpaw that moves a lot and throw punches in many angles?

If Hatton fails to KO Pac in 3 rounds, then it'd be a long excruciating night for him.
